Organizing Your RV on a Budget: Dollar Tree Finds!

[Music] in this video we're going to talk about some of my new finds at the Dollar Tree for your RV [Music] [Music] organization it's been a while since I've done a Dollar Tree video but let me tell you Dollar Tree has stepped up their game I'm going to go ahead and apologize if you hear loud noises in the back ground my neighbor decided to cut grass as soon as I start filming the video so you may hear their lawnmower in the background if you haven't been to Dollar Tree lately they have started getting in this new Essentials brand now while my Dollar Tree hasn't had the best selection they've had some pretty good stuff that I will show you today but if you can find anything in the new Essentials line a lot of it is definitely worth it so one of the first things that I found an extendable drawer organization and they had them in two sizes at my store they had them in the small one and the large one because always I don't know if this happens to you but it seems like you never get the right size to fit in your drawers well these with them being able to expand so you can go from this size to this size that helps it fit the space even better than it has ever fit they even have this bigger size that they've got now when I first went into Dollar Tree they only had the small size but then I went back a couple of days later and found the bigger one these are going to help organize your drawers so much better you can take a little Museum putty and put it in your drawer to keep them from sliding around and these are going to work perfect for your drawers another one that I found this the essential brand and they have this is like in the summer section it's supposed to be to hold like silverware and stuff which you could use it for that but I believe like this could fit in certain drawers and be able to stack and put things in it and it would really help they add it in tons of different colors and I like that it has like this little handle so that you can grab it in and out of the drawer really easily and you can even put this in your cabinets and organize some of those small things that you don't know what to do with the next thing that I found are these cute little baskets for your drawers they came in quite a few cute colors this obviously matches my RV this would be another great little thing that you could organize the small things and put them in there I think these would be great in the bathroom for like your makeup you could put your eye pencils your mascara all that in these and they would help organize your makeup really well because the way that they're small and square they'll fit in your drawers really well now this next one I was so excited when I saw it I thought this would be really cool other than the refrigerator it does work really good in the refrigerator which you could put like fruit and stuff in here and put it in your refrigerator but it has these little Clips so that you can clip it onto a shelf and then you just pull it out that way you're not double stacking things in the refrigerator so that you have to take multiple things out to get something out this just hooks onto the shelf and then you can just pull it in and out and get to whatever you put in this easily I really thought that I was going to put this in some of the cabinets I thought it was going to be cool but all my shelves and the cabinets have a lip on it and so it won't work but it does work in the refrigerator the next one that I found are these cute collapsible baskets I feel like these are a great size they're not too big not too small but if you're not using them they collapse down flat like this so that if you need the space for something else you can fold them down or or if you just need need a real quick basket for something you could pop this up and put your stuff in them again these came in multiple colors but they are super easy it just pops down and then you pop these then you just pop this up they snap together and then it pops up but then when you're done with it you can pop those sides down and then it just collapses right back and it can store in a small space the next thing was these cute acrylic drawers what I loved about these is you could take Museum putty Nano tape stack them so that way you can make a bigger unit and it's not just the single ones and then you just stick them down and then you can put little hair ties or different things in from the bathroom the options are endless with this and also they had this reusable gel tape which is like the Nano tape it's not a ton in this but if you're in a pinch and need just a little bit here and there it would really work but I took this and stuck all these together and stacked them up in a shelf in a cabinet that way I can keep the little things from flying around the only thing that I think you might have a problem with is if you go around a curb because they open and close so easy they could come open I wouldn't put them in an open space but if you put them in a cabinet I think they'll be fine and they won't fly open when you're turning around a curve or something and the last thing is if you've been wanting to change out your door pulls in your RV they have these nice they're metal they're super nice I put a couple of them in here just to show you how they look on the cabinet now I changed out all my knobs in the bathroom a few years ago and I believe they were like $2 or $3 a piece and these are only a125 these would be a super cheap easy way to update your camper you were looking for some black hand hand Les the only thing to note about the handles is on my cabinets the screws were not long enough to go all the way through so you would either have to buy some more screws for war them or measure and make sure that your cabinets not so thick that it won't go all the way through tell me if you have found any cool things from the Dollar Tree that I may have missed or I haven't seen yet I know
