New portrait of Kate Middleton draws strong reactions online

Morning Buzz a new portrait of Katherine the Princess of Wales is drawing some mixed reactions online let's take a look at it Tattler magazine unveiled a portrait of Kate Middleton on its cover on Wednesday as part of a series featuring members of the British royal family officials say Kate didn't posee for the portrait instead the artist Hannah oor sifted through thousands of photos to capture her likeness the photo shows Kate and the Jenny packam gown that she wore at a state banquet back in November of 2022 during King Charles III's reign while some praised oor's work others criticized the portrait for not accurately resembling Kate comparisons were made to the recent portrait of King Charles III which also received mixed reactions online with some calling it frightening kind of looks like Han Solo when he was frozen by Jaba the Hut and likening it to a nightmarish horror movie let's take a look at the face here up close yeah yeah so that's that then the Kate thing it looks like Kate is in distress on the magazine cover so I understand why people don't like it but how many times have you been in a museum and all the fusty old Fogo old fogy photos all look the same so I think the idea of these artists is to manipulate it a little bit do something different the one with Kate I don't like as much because it she does have a stronger presence this almost makes her look a little mousy a little in the background the one with Charles somebody said you know is the monar in Flames or is he in hell like that poor artist got a lot of trouble he was taking back when he first saw it but Camila said they got you and he came to really like it the idea being there's the butterfly on his shoulder is trans transition and also the idea of modernity in a gallery he will stand out and so I think he liked that idea that it doesn't look like everything before as he tries to change the Monarch so Kate's okay with this picture that's has bigger fish to fry right now I think she could care less but of course people love to come in on the on the RO yes as we do yes we do
