Pooja Mor: Transcendent Beauty | Official Trailer | NTD+
Indian girl Pooja Mor was firmly planted on the path to becoming a computer engineer. But beneath the surface of this diligent IT student, a different reality simmered—fueled by childhood stories of mystics told by her mother and inexplicable visions of walking through London streets in a heavy coat, far removed from the heat of India. These glimpses of a future she hadn't yet lived marked the beginning of a destiny that would pull her away from a stable career.
A reluctant entry into a college beauty pageant triggered a chain of events that defies logic. Propelling Pooja from a secretive bus ride to seek a Guru's blessing against her parents' wishes, she is catapulted to the global stage. She transitions from navigating the treacherous, unorganized freelance markets of India to the runway for luxury giants like Louis Vuitton and Givenchy. Navigating the intense scrutiny and pressure of international fashion weeks with a grace that wins the industry's respect, she achieved a life of wealth, five-star hotels, and travel that millions dream of.
Yet, amidst the flashbulbs and adulation, a haunting paradox emerged. Why does the fulfillment of her wildest dreams leave her feeling suffocated? The turning point came not with an award, but with a terrifying spiritual crisis where she felt a "heavy" darkness closing in, even as the spotlight shone brightest. Pooja Mor: Transcendent Beauty peels back the glossy magazine covers to reveal a spiritual mystery disguised as a fashion biopic. Haunted by a deep, internal calling she can no longer ignore, Pooja found herself fighting a battle no camera can capture. Caught between the seductive pull of fame and a truth she is desperate to uncover, she must make a choice that can impact her career in an unknown way. In a world built on illusions, what is the price of finding something real?
