Motorcycle Trip in Spain Ep #7 | We Flee To Portugal 🏍 Roadtrip of 1800 Km 🇪🇸

It’s the end of November, in the middle of Spain and the weather is getting cooler and cooler. We continue to keep our southwest course, in order to go to Portugal to spend part of the winter. On the road from Madrid, we decide to stop at the famous medieval town of Toledo. / -Our route continues towards the southwest. We then improvised a visit to the family of Victor, the former colleague of my brother and my mother’s restaurant. After our rather chilly week in a yurt in Madrid, we are welcomed by Victor's entire family in their sumptuous house that they built with their own hands. A beautiful meeting as we like them. / -The next day, we're off again, and today we'll once again break our kilometer record in one day by riding 344km. We make a quick stop in Caceres to visit this pretty medieval town and once again we feel like we are going on a crusade in this impressive citadel. / -After this brief but beautiful visit, we continue the road towards Mérida. There, we booked a night in a place that seems to have good vibes and that we are excited to discover. / -Mérida before being a city full of stories, it is the place where we met Alfonso, Sandra and their wonderful family. The power passes instantly and we decide to spend a few days in their magnificent oasis: CENTRO TAIA./ - They converted an old kennel into a place of peace and personal development, in order to host workshops around environmental themes and good -be. / - The following days we also take the opportunity to explore the charming old town of Mérida and its numerous Roman monuments. / - And there you have it, it’s already our last stop in Spain. As we told you at the start of the episode, the cold is more and more stubborn and we are therefore looking for a place to rest to let part of the winter pass before continuing south. / - On November 20, we contacted my uncle Francis because he had kindly suggested that if one day we passed through Portugal, we could stay in his house in the center of the country. He then tells us that the house is free and that we are welcome! / - On November 25 we board Falkor and fly 300 kilometers west! The start of the road is idyllic, the weather is beautiful and we cross the Portuguese border without even realizing it. / - But suddenly, the weather turns and the storm begins. We will drive for almost 3 hours in crazy rain. We check our Zulupack waterproof bags and everything is good, not an ounce of water passes through. / - Marie and Jean, friends of my uncle, are there to welcome us to this big house that we don't know. The place is magnificent and my uncle was then offered to do some work for him, in exchange for this super generous welcome. / - This base in the center of Portugal is truly an incredible opportunity for us because it will allow us to discover (the center and the north) of the region without having to lug all our belongings. And above all, no longer having to worry about finding accommodation every evening. / - This incredible stay which will last 3 months, will allow us to write and edit the latest episodes for YouTube, to welcome other travelers, to give an interview for a French motorcycle magazine, etc. / - In short, we are delighted to share with you the rest of our adventures in Portugal…/ But all that is another story :) / 📽✨WHEN NOTHING IS PLANNED, EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE✨📽/ ( Antoine De Maximy) ✨
