3 Months of Motorcycle Trip in France Ep #4 | Road Trip & Nomadism
4th episode since our departure from Switzerland on August 1, 2021. We travel along the south of France, from the Camargue to Sète, before stopping in Balaruc-Les-Bains for a few days. It's a storm and we're braving some floods and bad weather. From there, we discover the magnificent city of Montpellier before taking the road towards the South-West. Our Tom Tom Rider 550 GPS takes us again and again, through increasingly smaller roads, where our motorcycle has difficulty slipping through with our travel gear. We stop at the “death” bivouac at the Couleuvre belvedere, located near Narbonne. We spend a terrifying night with people who come to shoot next to our tent, others who come to frolic. On the other hand, we received a positive response for our first exchange of services via the Workaway site. After this night of horror, we leave in bad ass cinematic mode, passing through the village of Gruissan, then driving to the Pyrénées-Orientales 🤩 We land in La Taillède for 2 incredible months of exchange and sharing with the wonderful Cooper family. After this timeless experience, we hit the road again towards the Ariège Pyrenees to meet a friend. We ride through incredible landscapes in the middle of autumn! The trees are multicolored and mingle with the snow which is just emerging on the Col du Puymorens! Sylvain welcomes us to his magical yurt and after a few days in paradise we continue towards Andorra! But all that is another story. / - On August 1, 2021, we began a new stage in our lives: the discovery of this world aboard Falkor, our BMW GS 800. Traveling slowly, simply, without a return date and meeting inspiring people/organizations, who live in symbiosis with our planet. Carry out volunteer work and exchange of services by offering our skills or our time for projects that speak to us. The main thing is to let ourselves be carried away by the spontaneity of the trip and bivouac under the stars in harmony with nature.
