(Premier League 2023/2024): Highlights Aston Villa - Wolves

Villa have got everybody back to defend the penalty area. It's whipped in towards the near post. One by Villahead. Comes out to Doyle. Doyle strikes it through the bodies and it's wide of the far post. Douglas Luiz Reddick got there first for the home side and it's played in field to Moussa Diaby. Flicked on Watkins. Onside. Brilliant save by Jose Sabat. Smashed in. Now the offside flag goes up against Douglas Luiz. I think it might have been the initial run. Swept out high looking for Sarabia. Down by the right hand corner flag. Support is there from Santi. Santi has time to take a touch and deliver his cross in. Comes to the far post. Ain't Nuri. What a save by Emi Martinez. Flag didn't go up. All the Villa players stopped and looked towards the assistant referee and Ain't Nuri so close to 3-3. Bailey's made the run left hand side of the area. Low one in. Pulled back. It's going to come to Diaby to strike it through the bodies and score. From the edge of the box. No one could stop it. Villa break the deadlock. Khadim to Zaniolo. Trying to get around the outside of Doyle. Wolves get the ball back. Doyle though loses out. Zaniolo driving on. 20 yards from goal. Up towards Moussa Diaby. Diaby on again to Konso. Right inside the box. Cliffies cross in. It's going to be tucked home and in and Villa have a second. They all run to Konso to celebrate. Duran I think with the final touch. Oh now then Duran has stolen it from Kilman. Wolves give him possession away from the kickoff. It's Diaby. He's trying to tee it up. It's Zaniolo. What a save by Jose Sarr and he grabs it at the second attempt. Kilman had the chance to look to Hugo Bueno. Instead goes back into the circle to Lamina. Boubacar Traore. Now it finds its way to Hugo Bueno. Hugo Bueno's cross is a good one to the far post. Darity's head out onto the roof of the net.
