Pro. Feng Chongyi: The CCP is barbaric to persecute family members of human rights defenders

On April 15, the Chinese Human Rights Protection Organization released a report titled "If I don't obey, my family will suffer," which detailed numerous cases of repression faced by human rights defenders and their families in China.
On July 9, 2015, the CCP launched a campaign to arrest human rights lawyers in 23 provinces and cities. Hundreds of lawyers, human rights defenders, litigants, and their family members were detained.
During this crackdown, lawyer Wang Quanzhang was arrested and imprisoned for representing sensitive cases such as defending Falun Gong practitioners, land disputes of farmers, and cases related to Christianity.
