"Starship is ready for flight 2!”
This is the confident statement of SpaceX CEO Elon Musk on October 1.
It comes from the fact that SpaceX has done all the necessary work to prepare for Starship's next launch, including resolving the consequences of the first test flight, conducting many upgrades to both the vehicle as well as ground structures, and completing FAA corrective requirements.
However, Starship has not yet been licensed to fly since the FWS is holding up it, thus the SpaceX team continues to work with the FAA on a launch license.
