Indoor Garden: Harvesting, Freeze-Drying, and Cooking My Homegrown Mushrooms

The next step in my mushroom growing adventure is to harvest, preserve, and cook these beautiful mushrooms. Each of the kits from Field and Forest Products successfully produced delicious mushrooms.

In this video, I continue our adventure as I harvest and freeze-dry some of these mushrooms. I experimented with several recipes and discovered that I really like the flavor that mushrooms add to my meals. I was amazed at how well the mushroom stems flavor my homemade broth.
