Hi everyone and welcome back to Clean Eating Kitchen. Today's video on the best Vitamix
smoothies is gonna be a lot of fun. I have dairy-free smoothies that are made with chocolate,
I have green smoothies, I have breakfast smoothies, I have protein smoothies, and they are all super
delicious and easy to make. You can serve these smoothies for breakfast, for a snack, for dessert,
or as an easy meal replacement. These healthy smoothies can all be made vegan or paleo-friendly
depending on what type of protein powder you use, if any, and what type of milk or yogurt you use,
whether it's coconut yogurt or regular yogurt or any type of plant-based yogurt or milk.
If you're new here, I'm Keri and I have a master's degree in public health with a specialty in
nutrition, but I'm also a real person who's battled conditions like autoimmune disease,
PCOS, and thyroid disease, and following a clean eating approach has helped me manage my symptoms
and get my energy back. My goal is to share easy and healthy recipes that are dairy-free
and gluten-free so you can feel better too. If my story sounds like yours, then please subscribe
and hit that notification bell so you don't miss any of my new videos. First off, I want
to apologize for not making very many videos, actually for about a year. I have been very
focused on growing my website, Clean Eating Kitchen, and now I want to start making more
videos too. All of the smoothie recipes that I'll be sharing today will be linked below,
so you can follow the link to my site and where you'll get all the detailed information,
including all the nutrition stats for each recipe. And if you're interested in learning
more about clean eating, please let me know because I want to make more videos that are
educational as well as recipes, but I want to show more informational videos about using food
to manage things like hormones and chronic disease and stuff like that. Now let's jump into today's
video, which is all about the best vitamin smoothies. Some of them are fruit smoothies,
some are green smoothies, but they're all made with no dairy. If you want to make any of these
a protein smoothie, feel free to add a scoop of your favorite protein powder. I will link to a
separate post on my website that includes my favorite clean eating protein options that are all
unsweetened and made with real food ingredients. First off, let me show you this yummy dairy-free
mango strawberry banana smoothie. This is a fruit smoothie that can be served for a breakfast,
snack, or a dessert. It starts with orange juice, plus water, banana, frozen mango chunks,
and frozen strawberries. That's it. Just a handful of plant-based ingredients. Feel free to add up
to one to two scoops of protein powder if you want to make this a meal replacement vitamin smoothie.
Blend until smooth and serve right away. You are going to love this fruity smoothie.
Next, you've got to try this banana peach smoothie. Start with a frozen banana that is broken into
chunks. Add some fresh sliced peaches or frozen peaches. Next, add some unsweetened yogurt or
vanilla yogurt. I use coconut yogurt to make this a paleo-friendly and vegan smoothie. I added some
plant milk. Almond milk, coconut milk, and hemp milk are my favorite choices. You can see another
video on my channel that shows how I make my favorite homemade dairy-free milks in the Vitamix.
Next, add some vanilla extract for depth of flavor and some honey or maple syrup for sweetness.
Lock on the lid and blend this fruit smoothie until it is thick and creamy. It really only
takes about 30 to 45 seconds to blend, and you can always use a food processor if you don't have a
nice blender. The food processor may not get your smoothie as smooth, but it will work. And I do have
another video on my channel for a food processor smoothie that includes mango and baby spinach.
You can see how thick and creamy this smoothie is. It honestly tastes like a peach milkshake.
I really love this one and I hope you do too. As always, feel free to add a scoop of protein powder
before blending to make this a full meal. You can also add other ingredients like cocoa powder or
peanut butter to change the flavors. You can prep the ingredients the night before if you want to
make this really fast in the morning, like before work or before going to school. Just put the frozen
ingredients in a zip top bag and then pour them into the blender with the other liquid ingredients
when you're ready to blend. You can have your breakfast ready in less than 10 minutes. This is
also a great healthy breakfast recipe for kids or teenagers. If you're feeling a little more
adventurous, let's try a strawberry beet protein smoothie. Even if you don't like beets, I promise
you'll like this yummy recipe. For this healthy smoothie, we're going to start with plant milk
like almond milk. If you aren't on a dairy-free diet, you can use regular milk. Next, we're going
to add some frozen strawberries that provide natural sweetness, plus a frozen banana that
makes the smoothie so thick. Then we'll add some cooked and cooled beets. You can also use frozen
cooked beets. Don't use raw beets, but be sure to use roasted beets that you can either roast yourself
or buy already cooked. Then add some nut butter like peanut butter or almond butter. This helps
cover any taste from the beets and also adds some healthy fats. Next, I added a scoop of protein
powder. Then just lock on the lid and blend. You'll see in a matter of seconds, the smoothie turns a
beautiful pink shade. You may need to use the tamper to push the ingredients into the blade,
but within less than a minute, the ingredients get transformed into a thick and creamy strawberry
beet smoothie. You can't taste the beets and this Vitamix smoothie recipe is a winner. In fact,
if you didn't know there were beets and other healthy ingredients in this smoothie, you would
think it was a strawberry milkshake. It's that good and you've got to try it. For another fruit
smoothie, here's a delicious strawberry peach smoothie. This is a great breakfast smoothie
because it's full of fruit and fiber. This one does include yogurt, but yeah, I used a plant-based
version. If you aren't vegan or dairy-free, feel free to make this smoothie with regular yogurt.
You'll also need fresh or frozen strawberries, peaches, vanilla extract, and some honey or maple
syrup for sweetness. Again, if you want to add extra protein, feel free to add a scoop of your
favorite protein powder to the blender before blending. Serve your strawberry peach smoothie
and enjoy. This is a great smoothie for weight loss because it tastes great and doesn't have
too many calories. Now for a Vitamix green smoothie, let's try a broccoli sprout smoothie.
I know this sounds a little strange, but you really can't taste the broccoli sprouts.
As somebody who battled cancer in the past, I'm always looking out for ways to prevent cancer.
Broccoli sprouts are full of a compound called sulforaphane, which has cancer-fighting properties.
So be sure to give this one a try. I even have a post on my website that shows how to grow your
own broccoli sprouts at home. I'll be sure to link that post below. For this green smoothie,
start with water, then add hemp seeds, baby spinach, broccoli sprouts, frozen banana,
frozen strawberries, frozen pineapple, and cocoa powder to help mask the vegetable flavor.
Blend your green smoothie right up in your Vitamix and notice how it turns into a creamy,
delicious drink. It tastes great and you honestly can't taste any of the veggies.
The fruit makes it sweet and so your green smoothie actually tastes great. Don't miss
trying this broccoli sprout smoothie. Next, for something a little different,
and for the last smoothie in our Vitamix smoothie lineup, let's try an avocado chocolate smoothie.
Trust me, even though it sounds a little weird, the avocado makes this vegan smoothie so rich
and creamy. This one can also be served for breakfast, but I like it most often as a dessert
smoothie. Start with some plant milk. I used almond milk. Then add avocado, frozen banana
for creaminess, vanilla extract, and cocoa or cacao powder. You can even add a touch of maple
syrup if you want extra sweetness. This tastes like a chocolate milkshake, I promise. Serve it
cold and enjoy. That's it. I hope that you enjoyed these best six Vitamix smoothies you can make for
breakfast, snack, dessert, or for a meal replacement. And as I mentioned, I will link all the
recipes in the description box. Thank you so much for watching and I'll see you soon.
