A few years ago, I was walking the streets one night when a homeless man asked me for
a couple bucks. I stopped in my tracks and gave him something better, a lesson,
some knowledge. I looked at him and told him he was destined for more in life.
He was destined to do great things, to help others and contribute to something larger than himself.
Skip ahead years later, this is that homeless man now. Feel inspired yet?
Nicolas Cage did well, the Phillies pitching as a whole was pretty good,
as the Philly fanatic gets the final laugh in the battle against the Redbirds, putting an
aimbot in, gunning them all down out of the sky. Speaking of the sky in Atlanta,
it wasn't very happy, raining down and postponing the Braves game. I guess the
Mets are just bringing the rain with them wherever they go now, so that's fun, I guess.
Is it just me or does every Edward Julian home run end up like this? At least in Minnesota,
fly balls to the left field bleachers and he hit two of them today. The bullpen was pretty locked
down. Otani took a gamble on the 7th and lost, getting gunned down at the plate by Correa as
the twins avoided the sweep. Speaking of avoiding things, the Rockies avoided another win,
as the Snakes win the series at Coors, Lourdes Gurriel Jr continued his hot start with another
two hits and a couple RBIs, Blake Alexander hits his second career homer, and in today's edition
of saying something nice about the Rockies, shoutout Ezekiel Tovar. 3 hits on the day along
with this nice play at shortstop, so there you go. Jordan Hicks is so incredibly nasty,
man. What a pickup by San Fran. Like, how can anyone hit this pitch? Other than Joey Gallo,
I guess. Then the Giants went off, scoring 7 unanswered runs. Vladdy's big ass smoked an
bomb today, like oh my god. 114 miles an hour off the bat, that went about 460 feet deep to
tie the game. And then with the bases loaded in the 9th, game still tied, Toronto was so close
to being able to celebrate as this Ernie Clement pop up just found Jorge Polanco's glove as the
entire Blue Jays dugout went, and the rest was just paying for the Bluebirds. With Cal Raleigh
smoking a bomb in the 10th, Mariners put up a 5 spot as the Seamen drown the Bluebirds and
finally win in Toronto. The Rays win again, Trout didn't homer this time, Joe Adele did,
but so did Jose Caballero for his first Rays homer as he continues his hot start to what I
already can see as the next overlooked player. The Rays pick up and turn into a really valuable
player, just like they've done with so many pitchers. As the guy who's never once blinked
in his entire life, Pete Fairbank seals the deal. White Sox pitching most definitely didn't seal
the deal. They took the seal and ripped it wide open as Cleveland walked it off in the extras,
but the real story is what happened in the 4th. Did y'all know it was National Siblings Day? I
know there's a national day for something every day now, like National freakin' Peanut Butter Day
or whatever, but it was National Siblings Day, and the Naylor brothers both went deep. In the
same inning. Trippy stuff. Almost as trippy as people who haven't subscribed to this channel yet.
And just like this former MLB All-Star Matt Holliday tossing grounders to his little son
in Colorado, skip ahead 2 years and this is him now. Feel old yet? Jackson Holliday,
the number one prospect in baseball, makes his debut 2 weeks overdue. He should've been on the
opening day roster, but whatever. He's here now making his debut at Fenway Park, and he didn't
get a hit, but he drove it a run. Red Sox jumped ahead early and went up as much as 5-0 before the
Red Sox pitching got bored of giving up 0 runs and decided to spice things up a bit. Not a great
strategy, not the best recipe for winning, so I don't know what they were thinking, but the Orioles
did score 7 unanswered runs, capped off on a 3-run bomb by Jordan Westberg. Red Sox suck again.
The Padres finally put it all together. They scored a ton of runs, but also didn't give up a
ton of runs. Fernando Tatis Jr. 2.0 drove in 2. Fernando Tatis Jr. drove in 1. A ball was hit into
the crone zone. Jerickson Profar smacked 1. Dylan Cease gets his first win as a Padre. Aaron Boone
gets his first ejection of 2024. Things are truly getting off the ground running this season.
Instead of fried or steamed marlin at the ballpark like the night before,
this time Yankees fans got a birthday burger bomb. As Marcus Strowman is cooking up his
accusation of burger being a grand wizard as we speak. Luis Ariza's batteries died for a second
here. Bro just froze, but thankfully turned back on. The Marlins actually won the game,
like they finished the 9 innings played up, they had the lead, more runs than the opposition,
the Yankees. The Yankees had less runs, the Marlins had MORE runs, they were winning at the
time of the game ending, so they get rewarded the win for the start. Situations like these,
it's just kinda not normal nowadays. The Italian man blew up NASA, driving in 3 runs on a double,
and Homer against Houston. Chef Lugo cooks up a solid 6 innings as the Royals pound the Astros,
just like Adolis Garcia continues pounding baseballs. Getting a few more hits against
Oakland slash Sacramento slash Vegas slash this team sucks slash John Fisher go to hell slash
Rangers win. Christian Jelic continues to crush the ball, smoking his 5th bomb of the year already.
William Contreras continues to show why he's the better of the catching Contreras brothers.
Ellie hit a shot that off the bat looked like an accidental late swing short line drive the other
way that found its way out. And that's just about all the Reds did offensively. Brewers
win. Less than half the league plays today. I'll see you tomorrow.
