Classic Forever Pieces Styled For Everyday Life _ Spring 2024 (BQ)

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing great. Today we are gonna have a fun styling video for the upcoming season. If you are a regular visitor, you know that I love classic timeless pieces and also this is the area where I care about quality most. Well, because classic pieces are here to stay and they need to stand the test of time, right? I mean take this wool jacket. This is a jacket I see myself wearing in 20 years time as well. We will talk about styling ideas and how I like to integrate this kind of classic timeless pieces into my wardrobe in a second, but first I would like to thank Coelia for collaborating with me on this one. I was really really curious about especially their jackets because I have seen people raving about them and I really wanted to know it for myself. So I will give you close-ups of all the pieces I'm showing here to you. So without further ado, let us start. I love styling these kind of classic timeless pieces with things that lean more towards trendy. I really enjoy looks with that unexpected twist and cool effortless, you know, vibes. But of course if this is not for you, these classic pieces look amazing paired with other classic pieces like trousers, skirts, high heels. I mean there are so many different ways you can style this type of timeless pieces and they could work for any wardrobe I think. Anyway, here the jacket again I'm close so you can see how beautifully this jacket has been made. I also really like the herringbone patterns on this jacket and it is made out of a washable merino wool. Yes, you can wash this one which is a big plus in my books. The two pockets in front of the jacket are functional. Here the jacket is styled slightly differently. I really wanted to see how it looks together with a taupe colored t-shirt. For this next look I'm combining two of their silk pieces in the shirt and the trousers. This shirt is in size M. As a frame of reference I am 170 centimeter tall and is in this off-white color. I really like the cuffs of this shirt. They give me tuxedo vibes. Other than that this shirt has got a very simple and a straight cut which makes it I think a wardrobe essential. And here we have one of their cardigans. This is a cardigan not a jacket. It looks like a jacket, I know. But because of that this one is a very interesting piece of clothing. It can be worn in so many different ways. You can button it all the way down and wear it as a top. You can just close one button, the top one, and then something propped underneath. That would look so good. And also of course you can just leave all the buttons open and wear it as an actual cardigan or jacket. With this one I really like the contrasting edges and also the buttons are beautiful. So as you can see depending on what you are pairing it with you get completely different styles and vibes with this jacket. Please please let me know which style is more yours. The one with jeans or this one with a black classic trousers. I would love to know. And here we have the piece that surprised me most. This jacket I thought it will be difficult to style this jacket for me because of all the gold accent. And if you know me you know I love gold as a jewelry but I have difficulties styling things with gold hardware generally. But I'm so happy I took the challenge and ordered this one because I had so much fun styling this one. I can't even tell you. Here the shell again made out of 100% washable wool and I adore this herringbone texture on this jacket. And also in terms of styling I think this jacket looks really good with a pair of blue jeans and then a top that has got this cream off-white color. I think this would be a really nice combination. But for me I was so so surprised to see that this color this camel color against gray. And here I'm showing you again the details inside. As you can see the buttons are just stitched beautifully to this jacket. Yes I was saying this is my favorite way of styling this jacket. You know with these gray oversized boyfriend kind of jeans. It's just so beautiful to see that two very opposing styles can come together harmoniously in a look and create a more interesting outcome. I wish we could apply this formula to other aspects of life. If I had to pick only one style of jumpers for the rest of my life it would be the mock neck style. I really like all these three jumpers from Goya. But I think these two are more suitable for the warmer months, spring and summer months. Because they are very lightweight and also the texture is very fine. And of course the colors are fantastic for the warmer months as well. And also all three actually are made out of pure cashmere. So here is the off-white cashmere jumper styled with my white jeans. And I don't know if you can see but this jumper is quite lightweight and I don't have anything underneath other than my bra. I think you can actually see a bit the bra you know shining through. And this is okay. I think this is the perfect jumper for the warmer months. I went with size L and as you will see in a second I would be able to accommodate this jumper underneath this jacket. And this jacket is in size M. So here you can see how lightweight actually this jumper is. Because this jacket is not in my regular size. My regular size is L and all the other jackets are in size L. This one is in M and still this jumper fits nicely underneath. Here I'm wearing the other mock neck cashmere jumper which is in this beautiful taupe, dark taupe I would say color. And it goes so well with this jacket. Don't you agree? I think these two are so beautiful together. Then we have these silk trousers by Goelia. They are made out of fabric which is basically mulberry silk but treated. And the treatment is all natural and very sustainable. This is a method that has got roots and tradition in China. I will come closer and then you see the pattern. This is a very typical pattern for this kind of treatment which is beautiful. They can be washed by hand and they are very wrinkle resistant which makes them great for traveling I thought. Here you can see the pattern all up close and also the cut of these trousers is just amazing. I love the cut. I love these two pleatings in front. By the way I have ironed these trousers and it was so easy to iron them. I love that about them as well. Also I just found out that they also have matching tops for these trousers. So far I could find two different styles. A short sleeve shirt and a tank top. I would love to see that tank top together with these trousers because I think the set would look just amazing. I will link them both down below for you. Anyway I just love playing with different textures when it comes to creating all black looks and I think this is where these trousers come to shine for me. They would look amazing with a slightly cropped top in black. Then you add a blazer to the equation. This would be a killer outfit right? But I also think a simple t-shirt black or white would look amazing with these trousers. But here I'm wearing them with a merino wool t-shirt. This is also by Coelia and I really liked the finishing on this one. As you can see around the neckline, sleeves and the hemline you have these white edges which bring so much more interest into otherwise very simple t-shirt.
