Highlights: NEC - PSV | Eredivisie 2023/2024

Oh Hoedemakers trips Jong up Veermander runs away but Hoedemakers fixes it himself Gonzalez to the collision but it's further from Nijhuis De Jong he has space sets him up for Pakayoko And now it's almost a hit for PSV Pakayoko who could have done a bit more Two of the absentees from NEC Propper and Sherry There is the Ogawa family Schouten great job running around by Van Rooij Veerman now tries to send Lozano away but Sillens arrives in time This was his main position The boss to Sano played well in the game No violation by Schouten says Nijhuis Now there's room for the Young Schouten passes the ball to Lozano Pakayoko and the goal for PSV The current situation at NEC in the direction of Nijhuis This doesn't seem to be much of an issue certainly not according to Nijhuis standards There's still a lot that needs to happen before the ball goes in This is a clever move by Schouten He arrives with a lot of luck so it's also the case with Pakayoko Veerman there's de Jong he's back to the ball again Here goes the chance it was a decent opportunity Schouten de Jong Veerman to Lozano Now in the short corner more than a meter away Pakayoko with his right And what questioning glances what widening eyes directed towards Robert González The only danger from Pakayoko's shot is for the people in the stands Bring it over to Schouten this one over here Darken for a moment Pakayoko there's Lozano Right left next to many possibilities for PSV in this phase Druk from Hoedemaakers the mistake by Veerman and here is the chance for NEC and the ball wide But at NEC they are thinking about a foul On such matters the question is how the canal evaluates it This is a 100% violation of Veerman It's a penalty kick for NEC And also yellow for Joey Veerman Beautiful but it does not touch NEC Thanks to a penalty kick initiated by a foul by PSV Hoedemaakers having started chooses Verdonk which is a good move Verdonk back to Hoedemaakers and Benitez with the save Sano with the goal NEC is in the lead Kodai Sano With the other Japanese player present it is Sano who stands up Veerman is there a problem Veermaaaan He knew Peter Bos that this might be the most difficult one of the remaining competition matches Bakayoko oh let him go And applauds for Jasper Cillessen's attentiveness PSV is getting AZ but that is in Eindhoven Sano is in the corner near Ramalho claims the corner but he doesn't get it While Schöne lies in pain on the ground Yes divide it on that standing leg Then comes Lars Olden Larsen the Norwegian in the suit They will play in Sano's position and Sano in Schöne's position Here goes Pereira Pereira gets it and there's the goal by Selassol 1 for NEC NEC must win against PSV in the Eredivisie this season as the first team The clock is ticking but there's still half an hour to go NEC 3 PSV 1 42 consecutive matches PSV did not lose in the Eredivisie There's De Jong on the line I mean somehow he always ends up near that ball But now I don't know all the way to the back and almost got hit He is hit by Dest when he tries to get past Pereira No says Nijhuis Pereira definitely does not play the ball in the second instance The question is whether he hits the foot of Dest which is very hard to see It's not too heavy but it's certainly not the ball And so he goes to the spot Do you remember the story of Cillessen the penalty kick but he saves it Turn off the spin and step aside Yes then he can cheer for a moment I assume he will now stay on the line for every penalty And so Boskali once again makes life difficult and Nijhuis lets it happen So on the way to 4-1 So he's all over the place but can't keep the ball in He's completely out of position NEC is the first team this Eredivisie season to beat PSV 3-1 at the Goffert TV Gelderland 2021
