Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. In today's video I'm going to be sharing my spring
workwear staples. These are the key pieces that build the foundation of my workwear outfits.
The first item is a blue and white shirt. The blue to me is super fitting for spring with the
addition of colour while also being chic and classic for an office setting. You could pair
it with white trousers as I've done here or beige could also work really well and if you have a more
casual workwear environment then you could wear it with straight blue jeans. Next is the classic
crisp white shirt. This can be worn in so many different ways whether it's on its own with a
jumper on top or with trousers or with a skirt and it always looks professional. I love the
exaggerated cuffs on this particular shirt from ASOS. Here I've styled it with navy trousers,
a tan belt from Amazon Fashion and a tan belt from Cofoon. I love tan and navy together,
they work so well as a colour combination. As with all of these outfits you could definitely wear
them with flat shoes like loafers or ballet flats. I just choose to mostly wear slingback shoes for
office wear because I love how they look. I'm also shorter at five foot three and I love to have a
little bit of extra height. I think they're a great way of elevating an outfit as well.
When I previously commuted to the office I would however pop my heels in my bag and always travel
in a pair of flat shoes or trainers for comfort on the underground or the tube and public transport.
Then we have a heavyweight white t-shirt. This is a staple in my regular spring wardrobe
and through the seasons. This one is from Arquette. COS also has a great version of this t-shirt.
The heavyweight material gives a more boxy and structured look which I absolutely love. It also
looks more elevated and luxe than a regular t-shirt. It's such an easy and simple outfit
base. You can pair it with trousers and then throw on a trench coat or pair it with a blazer and
trousers. You're good to go with minimal effort or thinking required to go to the office.
A smart tweed jacket is an absolute staple in my workwear wardrobe. This is an item that's
really been trending in the last few years with a nod to the old money classic style of dressing.
This one is from Marseille London. It's a lovely thick material which is great for spring as it
can be quite chilly in the UK during springtime. It has a boxy shape with slight shoulder pads
added and it's these design features which make an item look more polished and elegant.
I've gone for a tonal look here with taupe based trousers from Under the Stories,
a cream body also from Under the Stories and then cream slingback heels from Zara.
And then matching the colour of the accessories with the black Celine belt
and my black wavier bag from Ollieada. I also wanted to share this new in cropped tweed jacket
that I recently picked up from Abercrombie. I really love the shape of this jacket and also
that it has stripes. I feel like the nautical stripe is so fitting for springtime and also if
you're like me and don't tend to wear lots of colour then this is a nice way to add some interest
into your outfit. Another spring workwear staple is a chunky cardigan. This one is from Rose Paris.
It's a wool and cashmere blend so it's super high quality material. It's going to keep you warm.
It's the ultimate minimalist cardigan with a gorgeous shape. It works throughout the seasons
and it's also great for layering on those colder spring days or if you work in an office that has
the aircon on far too high. One question I always get asked when it comes to workwear is where to
buy a workwear bag. It can often be difficult to find a bag that has the functionality and
practicality needed for a workwear bag but also looks chic and complements your workwear outfit.
I have recently found a brand that ticks all of those boxes. Ollieader is a New York based
brand that designs handbags using premium leather and recycled materials. This is the
wavier bag which to me is such a practical yet elegant and chic bag for work. As you can see
here it has a zip pocket so you can put some things safely away. It has multiple compartments
as well which is so handy for organizing. You can also fit up to a 14 inch laptop in this bag as
this is the plus size version. It's the perfect mix of style and function and it's the work bag
that has everything you need. The design is so classic and timeless it would work so well with
your everyday workwear outfits. It has a removable and adjustable shoulder strap and you can wear the
bag in four different ways. So you can wear it as a backpack which is super practical for work
especially if you've got a heavy bag or you can wear it as a top handle like here. Another way
you can wear it is as a cross body bag and then you can also wear it as a one shoulder bag so
it's so versatile and there's lots of different ways that you can wear it depending on your
preference. And if you're fortunate enough to not have to carry a laptop to the office or you're
heading to a coffee meeting where you don't need a big bag they also have the mini anchor style.
The mini anchor style fits all of your essentials and it has a zip lock. It has multiple handy
compartments so you can organize your things. It also fits an iPad mini. Here you can see that I
can fit my phone inside, I can fit my power bank for charging my phone, I can also fit my wallet
inside and there's still so much more room inside the bag. The mini anchor can also be worn in four
ways as a backpack like this. You can also wear it as a top handle as I'm showing here and a cross
body bag and also a one shoulder bag. I also have a great discount code to share with you for Oleada
which I'll include on screen and in the description box along with all the links to both products
and their website so you can go and check out their products for yourself. A trench coat is an
absolute must for spring. It's one of those pieces you can just throw on and it instantly elevates
your outfit and it's really helpful for layering in the spring season. This one is from And Other
Stories. Here's two ways to wear a trench coat to the office. This is definitely one of my go-to
work wear outfits. White trousers, a blue and white striped shirt and a trench coat. Always looks so
chic, just easy to put together and so effortless. I have been loving the cropped trench coat this
season. I'm seeing it everywhere. This one is from And Other Stories. It feels slightly more casual
than a long line trench. I've styled it here with a white shirt for a simple look or you can dress
it down with trainers and a t-shirt for a more business casual work outfit if your office allows
for that. An item which is absolutely worth the investment for your spring work wear wardrobe
is a tailored blazer in a neutral colour way. This one is from Anina Bing. Wear it inside the office
or outside of work. A blazer automatically says business attire. It's perfect if you have client
meetings, a first job interview or a more corporate office. For work wear, I'd go for a more tailored
style as opposed to oversized. This just looks more work wear appropriate, looks really smart
and sophisticated. Navy trousers are a great option for spring and a great alternative to the usual
black. These ones are from LilySilk and they are a silk blend which is just a gorgeous fabric
for spring. I've paired it with a striped t-shirt from Massimo Dutti, also in the navy which I think
works so well and then the tweed jacket from Marseille London to bring back the cream and the
anchor bag from Oleada. A staple you have seen throughout the video are white trousers. These
are key for me during spring summer and easily one of my most worn pieces. White and black is also
such a great colour combination, monochrome and colour blocking and tied together with this black
belt from Amazon Fashion. Black and white together just looks classic and timeless. A tailored long
line pencil skirt makes a great alternative to trousers. I love that it looks feminine and also
for you petite ladies I find them to be elongating and really flattering. I think this is because
it's high-waisted and then goes all the way down to the floor so it gives that illusion of having
a longer body, longer legs. I've paired it here with a smart cardigan from H&M to fit in with the
black and white theme of this outfit. Here's an alternative way to wear the pencil skirt with the
beige blazer and also with ballet flats. I hope this video has been helpful and given you inspiration
for your workwear outfits this spring. Don't forget to like and subscribe and I'll see you in the next video.
