Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. If you're new here, I'm Andrea. You are very
welcome. I'm a celebrity makeup artist. I'm based in Paris. And in today's video, I'm
going to do kind of like an autumn back to work video where I am showing you my current
favorites and my current favorite routine. I know that for some people this is a lot,
but I've been wearing this in the streets of Paris. And you know, Paris is not really
well known for embracing makeup, but I still got a lot of compliments. And I wanted to
show you not just the products that I was using for this look, but also the technique.
So I'm going to explain every single step as we go as usual. So if you want to know
how to create this look, please keep on watching. I have a hard time with foundation and I don't
mean like I have a hard time. I cannot find fun. No, I actually have too many foundations
that I like and I cannot figure out which one I like the most. So let me tell you and
we can, maybe we can figure out together. I like this one from Victoria Beckham Beauty
and Augustina Spader. I like this because it's very, very hydrating. So I think I like
to use this in the days when I feel like my skin is very dry. I don't need to use too
much moisturizer with this because it's just very glowy. It does not set all the way. So
if you have dry, mature skin, this is great. I find myself using this foundation mostly
in the weekends. I just love that weekend skin. I don't know how else to call it. This
is my foundation that Natasha Denona, this is the high glam foundation. I have to say
this foundation has more coverage than everything else I like at the moment. And it's a bit
more of that semi-matte finish, if you wish. It kind of like dries very quickly on the
skin. I would say that this is my foundation when I go out. When I go out, this looks beautiful,
photographs beautifully. The foundations that I would say during the week I use the most
are these two. I know this is not new, but it's such a great foundation. Also, the reason
why I think I love this so much is because of the shade. So the shade 210, it's my perfect
match. But guys, can you get closer? I cannot even begin to tell you how perfect this match
is. Look at this. Match made in heaven. Look at this. Look at this. It blends. It's like,
where is it? Where is it? It's nowhere. It's nowhere to be found because it's just so good
in terms of the color. So that's the reason why I always kind of gravitate towards this
foundation. However, this is a new foundation. They just launched in September the All Hours
Glow Foundation from YSL. Now this, this has this gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous finish. And I love
this foundation in particular because it's glowy, but it's not dewy. It does not stay wet. This is
the Houselabs and this is the YSL. YSL goes a bit more warm. Yeah, I mean, it's light warm
seven. That's the shade that I have. And it looks like this on my skin. Do you see like a little
bit goes such a long way with this foundation. It's a good match. But this one is better in terms
of color. However, this YSL guys, it's I, the finish of this foundation is gorgeous. And you
know, I love a foundation that sets all the way. So I think today I'm going to use this. But I have
to say, I love these both equally, equally. The others are like more for like I said, weekends
and evenings. But these two are like go to's. So YSL will be we're going to add about two pumps of
this. And one of the best foundation brushes is this one from Hourglass. And off we go. Now this
is going to be a very quick makeup. But as usual, with the explanation, it's probably going to be at
least 20 minutes because that's how I am. This foundation is just beautiful. It will not cover
everything obviously depends on how you apply it. But as you can see, first I kind of like swipe it
all over the face, right? You still have a little bit left, just two pumps, right? So you want to
swipe it everywhere first, especially if it's not like your perfect shade. When a foundation is not
your perfect shade, it's easy to see it on the face. This is how I like to apply it. First like a
quick swipe. And then I will take whatever is left load my brush with the foundation and go over the
parts of my face that will need just a bit more coverage because this is very light. It's not going
to be like a tinted moisturizer. It's a regular foundation, but it has light coverage. And then we'll
go a little bit on the chin, just the areas that are more problematic to you. That's where maybe you
want to go with a dabbing kind of motion to build the product there. Concealer, Nars Soft Matte. Why
change it if it's not broken, you know? It's that type of concealer that has a bit more drier consistency.
So if you have, I'm telling you from the very beginning, if you have dry under eyes, if you have mature
skin, you're not going to like this. That's just my opinion. I mean, I could be wrong, but just out of my
knowledge and my experience as a makeup artist, I could tell you that this could be a little bit drying
or someone that has dry skin because it's a high coverage concealer that has more of that dry
consistency, which I can still pull it off. I'm sure that probably in like five years I'm not going to be
able to. I mean, who knows? Because the older we get, the drier the skin gets. Concealer is on. Did you see
that first I did like swiping motions and then I did tapping motions. That's the best way to apply
your concealer. In general, it's not good to just do the swiping motions. You need to do the tapping as
well. Else it's just, it's just not going to work. I'm using the shade Custard and my brush is a
fantastic brush for concealer. This is from House Labs. Has no number, but I'm sure I'm going to find
it and link it in the description box. I have to say that I did not believe much about this product when
I received it. Although I do love the packaging. I love everything that is like round and cute and
sweet looking. This is a blush, a moussey blush or like blush. You can, you can use it on the lips
as well from a brand called Fwee or Fwee. I don't know how you pronounce it, but it's F W E E and
let me show you this color. You're, you're not going to, you're not going to believe it. You're
going to be like, just wait until I apply it. Just wait. This is very autumny. And this is one of the few
blushes that I have that are more on the affordable. I wouldn't say cheap because this is not cheap.
It's more like 18 euros or something like that. Or at least this is the price that I found it with.
Is this texture a bit more tricky? It is. And it's harder to work with because it's in this like
smaller opening, right? And usually we use bigger brushes for the blush because you don't want the
color to be concentrated into one little spot, right? You want that diffused look. You just,
you don't want like a spot of color. I found the right brush that would go with this. This is a
BK Beauty number 113. You got to make sure that you really press this product into the bristles.
And then the right way to apply it is by doing dabbing motions. So just dab, dab, dab. It takes
a while. It takes a little bit for the pigment to show only because I didn't apply a ton. It's
better to build the color than having to erase anything. Now this is a very, very nice blurring
effect type of blush. I don't know if you can see. Can you get closer? Whenever I apply this, I get
this blurring effect. I want to give you a tip about the application. You've applied the blush,
right? After you apply your concealer. And now you have that very precise line of where you've
applied the concealer. It's almost like a straight line right under your eyes. I want you to take
that brush. Make sure you don't have a lot. Usually a lot of blush would stay on the tip of the
brush. It's just by the way you take the product on your tools. It happens very much. So make sure
you don't have a bunch on the tip. And now go closer to your eye. It feels so wrong to do this,
but the color being placed so high, it's going to lift the cheek. And also it's going to prevent
you from having that straight concealer line. And then if you need, you can take your concealer
brush. That's why you need to keep your brushes for one product use only. Concealer for concealer,
blush for blush, and so on and so forth. So now you make sure that, you know, there is no weird
line. And there we have like a very, very natural looking blush. See here, like the very obvious
line of concealer. I mean, this side I did not blend it, so it's coming. One more thing about
this blush and I'm done. This is not very long lasting unless you set it with a setting spray.
So I've used this with a setting spray, without the setting spray. I have to say that without the
setting spray, this will not last at all and will become patchy. You know, if you have a child that
like puts his hands on your face or, you know, if you have a husband that's like kissing or
if there's any touching involved on your face with someone's fingers or your own, this blush
will not last at all. But with the setting spray, it will be very much set. With other similar
blushes, such as the multiple from Nars. Multiple from Nars is a very, very long lasting product.
I've noticed that even if I do not set it, it lasts very long. However, I've used that so much
that I think that I've kind of abused that product at this point. And there are so many
blushes on the market that it's impossible to keep it to just one product. But if I were to choose,
I would say the multiple is kind of like my favorite, also because of the fact that it
stays on forever. Here's the tricky thing. If I set my makeup with this spray, the Easy Blur
Big Setting Spray from Huda Beauty, before I use powder, I use tiny, tiny, tiny bit of powder to
maybe just my concealer. I find that this not only sets your makeup in place, but also it kind of
mattifies your skin. So you're not going to touch up as much and you're not going to use as much
powder as you would normally use. I have the small version at the studio. I wish they had a better
spray tip or whatever it's called. The only thing about the spray is that after you've applied the
spray, you've got to make sure there are no little droplets of the spray on your skin because
for some reason it becomes like white. So now I took like literally the tiniest amount of powder.
I'm using Huda Beauty powder and I just make sure that my concealer is set. I need such little
powder that I only press it here where my concealer naturally would crease. So I just press a little
bit of powder there, a little bit of powder here and what is left on the forehead. But I'm telling
you, if you do the spray before you set everything with powder, it makes such a big difference. I don't
always use bronzer, but you know what? I feel like I'm a little pale and I'm wearing a t-shirt so you
can see that my arms are much darker because I still have tan left from the summer. So we're going
to match the face with the body slightly. Not really. Oh wow, that's a very old brush.
Japonesque. And I'm going to use Hermes bronzer in shade number three and it's mostly the forehead
that I think I'm going to give it a bit more warmth. A little bit on the brow bone, you know the drill
and the nose of course. Now I'm going to do something that is called stacking your blush.
Basically, what I like to do is I like to apply a cream blush and then top it with powder. Not all
the time. Sometimes cream is more than just enough. Other times powder is more than enough. But lately
I find myself wanting to like mix blushes to get like either my perfect shade or like my perfect
finish. In this case, I'm only going to apply the same blush but in layers. So I have the first layer,
I set it with that setting spray. I'm going to apply a second layer just for more saturation.
That's what I need. I just want this to be more saturated. I go quickly with the second layer.
These cheeks feel more like an autumn cheek because I felt like the the color was not like enough.
Now we're going to go into brows. The past year I would say I kind of neglected my eyebrows but
I'm back at it. I had them shaped and I have to say I do not tint them anymore and I do not
laminate them which I think it was something that it just did not work for my eyebrows. Now
I'm going to fill them in with Anastasia the new micro stroke brow pen and this is one amazing
product. Can you get closer please? I've never seen anything like this guys. This is the most precise
eyebrow pencil I have ever came across with. If you're a makeup artist you absolutely need to
have this. Then I'm going to use this gel. This is not a gel for the eyebrows you guys, that's why
the big one. This is something that you're supposed to use for your flyaways. A friend of mine who
went to Japan brought this. It's called matte lipstick and I was thinking you know what if
it holds the hair it's supposed to hold the eyebrows too like why not and it does. It does
actually very good job. So that's what I'm using right now. I have to say that I love a cream
eyeshadow and I've tested this. It's a cream eyeshadow kind of new from Makeup by Mario and
it's kind of the only thing that I've been using on my eyelids. Either this or the eye tint from
Armani, my favorite things to use. They're just so easy. This is slightly more olive and I would have
to say the eye tint from Armani is and will remain like my favorite but sometimes I have to say
there's something about this olive taupe that I'm obsessed with. I don't know what color this is.
Yeah it's taupe and I like this so much. If you are similar colors with me this is going to look
like it's part of you. I guess that's why I like it so much and I think for autumn it's just perfect
and now I'm going to take the same thing but apply it with a brush. I've put it on the back of my hand
took a pencil brush, any pencil brush should work and I will get this at the base of my lower lashes
not too much because I tend to look aggressive like it gives me a very aggressive look when I
have too much eyeshadow, too dark of an eyeshadow on the lower lashes but if I get the right amount
it makes my eyes bigger and more open. You see it's so nice. Oh god this color guys if you're
light medium skin tone, you're neutral undertone or even like warm undertone or olive undertone
this is going to be part of you. This is so beautiful oh love love. I'm just gonna take that
brush that I've blended the eyeshadow with and I will go a little bit more towards my brow bone
because keeping the eyeshadow at the base of your lashes it's closing your eye despite of what you
might think it will close your eye so blending your eyeshadow more towards the brow bone
will actually open the eye. Oh this is such a good color I can't get over it. The one thing that you
can do that I've been doing a lot lately either I have this as a base or the eye tint from Armani
I would go with something like this this is the NARS total seduction eyeshadow stick either go
with this at the base of my lashes imagine having this at the base of my lashes right it's a little
bit of that spark it's so good if you have deep set eyes it's going to like make your eyes pop
especially this color very much working with this let me tell you exactly what this is it's Laguna
I'm not going to use this because I actually want a full matte look and now I'm going to use a pencil
this is a matte kohl from hung van gogh now this particular color I'm obsessed with because it's
not your typical brown that is like darker brown no it's this warm brown that I love love love it
just gives you just a pinch of intensity at the base of the lashes and then the same thing I use
in the inner corner of the eye because my eyes are pretty round I do a little bit of a dark eyeshadow
or a darker pencil right there to emphasize the inner corner of my eye and then same thing at
the end of the eye leaving this part the center empty by doing so you're creating an illusion
that your eye is more almond shape like imagine when you draw right if you have something round
like this how do you make it flat you cannot cut from it right you're gonna add more shadow here
and here to give the illusion that is more long and then the surface doesn't look as tall you
gotta remember from when you were a kid and you were drawing at the drawing lessons at school
it's it's kind of the same thing once you get the hang of it with your own eye you're gonna do it
so quickly so fast it's gonna become second nature I kind of stress about this because
this is the one thing that if I do for my eyes it just changes completely the way my eyes look
now I'm gonna apply mascara and this is from Lancome this is called Lash Idol Flutter Extension
and I know that you did not trust the process once I've applied the pencil right you were like
oh this is too warm what did you say be honest right you didn't believe it but I always envision
what the makeup will look like with mascara mascara kind of rubs it up it's the box that
makes the gift look beautiful right I was checking this article the other day that said something
that people are not using mascara anymore there's like mascara is not in that I don't know whatever
celebrity stopped using mascara or they did a look without mascara I don't know something about
not using mascara and I was thinking wow like these people have no idea what the real world is
like because in the real world a lot of women would use mascara I might have applied like two
tons of mascara but that's okay it's back to work baby you're not ready for the lip I'm about to
show you I'm just in between this color or this color okay let's do this oh my god oh so good
it's not going to stay like this so basically this is the new violet effer lip product this
is called plume lip and it has a lot of pigment and it's very long lasting almost transfer proof
I say almost because it really depends on how much you apply and I'm obsessed with this but
where you want to apply it is in a very very thin layer so I just take a brush after I slap it on
the lips just like that and then I build it because I don't want too much color so in order
to make it less intense you just apply less product and then you blend it really really well
so this is my base what a good color the mixture between these two is perfection so I do the warmer
shade all over the lip and I do the cool shade just in the middle and I just love this combo
this is just slightly cooler because I want to put a lot of pressure on my
brush I hold the brush from almost the ferrule right but if you want to feather out something
you're going to hold the brush from the very end oh this is such a good lip oh my god then you know
how I like an over lined lip and it is over lined right now but I like that contrast so I'm going
to use this shade now this is very dark for me I don't recommend you this shade if you are my
colors unless you are someone who's very skilled at doing that gradient because basically this is
what I'm going to do I'm going to barely touch my lip and create that gradient so you see it's
more of a framed lip I'm basically cheating to have like bigger lips which you know this is
something I love this lipstick is so comfortable so comfortable you could apply it even on a
thicker layer you're not going to feel it on your lips it truly becomes one with your lips I was
using Mon Cheri as my first layer and then I've used Sierra Fumé this is Mon Cheri this is Sierra
Fumé honestly you could get just one of them it will do the job like if you're looking for something
that is more autumny definitely one of these colors and I'm done I think it looks a little
bit like matte and maybe a bit like too much for some people but I promise you I was wearing this
even during the day for my meetings and everybody just complimented me I did not feel like I was
wearing too much and that comes from somebody that lives in a city where makeup is just not
embraced especially when it's just a pinch more than your no makeup makeup look I want you to
know that this does not feel first of all too much second does not look too much you know it's
very much of a beautifying makeup which is something that you know I love to do on myself
I'm not that much into anything that is necessarily uh editorial if you enjoyed this give it a thumbs
up so I know that this is the type of looks you love I purposely did not apply anything
too shimmery because I think this is a beautiful satin uh natural texture everything that I've
mentioned including all the brushes that I was using you will find it in the description
down below and thank you so much for watching and I'll see you guys in my next one bye
