Prince Harry reached out personally to Prince William following Princess Catherine's cancer diagnosis, according to royal commentator Sarah-Louise Robertson.

On Friday, Princess Catherine shared her cancer battle and chemotherapy treatment in a video posted online.

Following the announcement, the Sussexes expressed their hopes for Kate's private and peaceful recovery.

Royal commentator Sarah-Louise Robertson told GB News on Saturday that Prince Harry personally contacted William post-diagnosis, hinting at a potential reconciliation.

"Harry reached out to his brother last night," she said.

“There have been some text messages, some exchanges, and the fact that has happened shows that there could now be maybe a thawing and a bit of an olive branch between the two families."

Despite this outreach, The Times sources say the Sussexes weren't pre-informed about the diagnosis.

A spokesperson from Kensington Palace stated to the publication, "We do not comment on private conversations".
