The KF-21 Falcon is a fighter jet currently under development. The KF-X/IF-X fighter jet development project led by South Korea and invested by Indonesia was launched in 2016. It is intended to be a multi-role fighter jet to be adopted by the South Korean and Indonesian air forces.
In April 2021, the first prototype of the KF-X program was delivered and officially named THE KF-21 Falcon. After ground testing, the first flight of the kF-21 falcon is expected to take place in 2022. The program is scheduled to complete the full development work in 2026.
The Korean Air Force is expected to deploy 120 KF-21 falcons by the end of 2032, while the Indonesian Air Force is expected to order 50 production aircraft.
KF-21獵鷹為目前尚在開發中的戰鬥機項目，始於2016年啟動由韓國主導、印尼參與研發投資的KF-X/IF-X戰鬥機研發項目，目標是作為韓國與印尼空軍將采用的多用途戰鬥機。
2021年4月KF-X項目的首架原型機出廠，並被正式命名為KF-21獵鷹，該機地面測試後預計於2022年進行首飛，項目表定於2026年完成全部研發工作。
韓國空軍預計至2032年底將部署120架KF-21獵鷹，印尼空軍則預計訂購50架量產機。
