Concerns about the destabilizing activities of the CCP at the US border

Russia had planted spies in Ukraine well before the outbreak of war. Similarly, undocumented Chinese immigrants crossing the southern border could be spies or saboteurs implanted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

According to the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), approximately 24,000 Chinese nationals entered the US last year, a significant increase from the reported 450 in 2021. However, this number only accounts for those who voluntarily confessed or were apprehended. The government acknowledges that there are likely thousands more who have crossed the border illegally and evaded capture, potentially raising the actual number of Chinese immigrants entering the US by a significant margin.
