‘Mistrust’ following Princess Kate’s photo scandal ‘evident and very much there’

"Royal expert and journalist Pandora Forsyth says the mistrust, especially online, is evident and “very much there” following the fallout over an edited photo of Princess Catherine and her kids.

Princess Kate has been caught in controversy over an image Kensington Palace released of her with her children for the UK’s Mother’s Day.

News agencies pulled the image, and a kill notice was issued for the Mother’s Day photo over concerns it may have been “manipulated”.

This forced the Princess of Wales to release a statement on social media on the incident and has apologised for any confusion for the edits made to the photo.

“Social media is awash with rumours, conspiracy theories,” Ms Forsyth told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo."
