Building a Bushcraft Shelter on an Uninhabited Island - Pack Rafting Adventure in Finland

This September I went on a packrafting adventure on the lake Höytäinen in the North Karelia region of Finland. I spent two nights on different uninhabited islands and practiced my bushcraft shelter building skills on the first night, because the only sleeping equipment I had with me was a sleeping bag. Living in solitude in the beautiful calmness of this large and mostly undisturbed ecosystem for a while was truly magical.
