Rep. Chris Corry urges "yes" vote on I-2113 so criminals know accountability is back in Washington

During debate on I-2113, Rep. Chris Corry, R-Yakima, urges House members to pass the initiative to the Legislature that will greatly loosen restrictions on police pursuits. Corry shared a transcript of a 911 call in Seattle during the period when police were not able to pursue. The 911 caller - a criminal who is being chased by police - tells the 911 operator to inform the police cars behind him to stop because they are taking part in an illegal pursuit - that chasing him was illegal under the current law. Corry said passing the initiative will let criminals know that if they will face consequences if they break the law.
