Rep. Jenny Graham: Lives have changed but not for the better (speaking against Senate Bill 6058)

During House floor debate, Rep. Jenny Graham spoke in opposition to Senate Bill 6058, a bill aiming to link Washington's carbon market with California and Quebec. Graham stated about the financial impacts of the Climate Commitment Act and its contribution to the state's affordability crisis: Lives have changed but not for the better. This is not popular in my district because it's hitting people to the point where they're having a hard time feeding their families, getting to work, and paying their bills. I believe this bill is not the right path forward.
