If anything online is asking for your personal details, then someone will use those personal details.
stop commenting on quiz posts what am I
talking about you know how you're on
Facebook or Twitter or whatever and they
have those fun little what's your Harry
Potter name style quizzes and then you
see all these people commenting exactly
what their Harry Potter name is like oh
my name is Barnaby MC ferle flitz stop
doing this you're handing over your
personal information to people look at
the quizzes they ask you for your
personal information if your hometown is
this the first part is this if your
first name is this the next part is this
they'll ask you for personal details
about your information and then people
just voluntarily comment them on the
post okay what's wrong with this think
about it for some of you this is going
to be related to your password how many
of you use personal information inside
of your password your birth date your
child's name your hometown it it doesn't
matter something that's important to you
or something you can remember Easy A lot
of people bake that into their password
okay so let's say you have a super
secure password and you don't do that
think about your security security
questions think about your your your
online banking your security questions
your hometown your first grade teacher
your mother's maiden name these are all
personal details that you actually see
appear in A lot of these quizzes online
and people voluntarily just give up that
information so it's very easy for people
to guess how to break into your account
that they're looking for you've helped
them to narrow down their search to make
it very easy to guess they have your
first name and last name because most of
you have your first last name on your
Facebook account or whatever account
we're talking about Instagram Twitter
doesn't matter then they know the city
that you're living in then all they have
to do is go to one of these hacks that
have previously happened remember
hearing about the big T-Mobile hack just
a few months ago or some other big hack
where people got a lot of personal data
all they really need from that is your
first name your last name and your email
address from there everything else is
easy if they have your phone number
that's an added bonus and then they'll
look in in whatever City you're living
in let's say oh look in Pensacola
Florida there's only 12 Mikey MC blarts
then they've narrowed it down they have
12 email addresses already ready to go
they only need to guess 12 of them and
then get your security questions and
they can probably break into your
account so just be aware of these things
stop putting personal details anywhere
online because people are out there
looking for it every single day stay
safe
everyone why H you
