Just a quick video on how to create and share a card in Gan Jing World
Hi everyone, this is just a very quick video to show you how to make a card in Ganjing World.
Since it's the holiday season, we're going into Thanksgiving, I thought I would just do a quick
video and show you how to do that. So, let me back up for a second because I tend to move a
little bit fast. So, when you're logged into Ganjing World, this works in both the mobile apps
and the web app. This symbol right here, if you float over it, you have options to post a video,
post a post, post a short, or post an article. You'll get the same thing on the mobile app.
I'm going to go to post. Now, these posts, if you don't already know, work pretty much similar to
Facebook posts or X posts, X formally known as Twitter. And what I'm going to do today is what's
called a card. It's sort of like a digital greeting card, but it doesn't necessarily have
to be used for that. But that's what we're going to do today. So, as you see at the bottom,
these little squares with colors and patterns, those are backgrounds. So, if I would just want
to choose a Thanksgiving one, if you notice the first three or four are Thanksgiving themed right
now, it might be five or six. I'm going to choose the first one just because it's the first.
And as you notice, it has the Ganjing World logo at the bottom. It has some Thanksgiving or at
least Autumn-y type stuff here. And it's prompting you to write some words. So, I'm just going to
The reason I have the IT guy in quotes is sort of a joke to my channel name. I'm actually not an IT
guy, believe it or not. It's sort of an ongoing joke. I do talk about technical related problems,
but I don't work in IT, believe it or not. Anyway, so now I've just put a little greeting,
and I'm going to go ahead and post it as public. I haven't changed anything. You can post it
unlisted, which means shareable to people whom only have the link. You can do private if you
don't want to publish it yet. You want to come back to it later. But I'm just going to post it
to public. And I'm going to add a hashtag. Actually, I'm going to make my hashtag Thanksgiving
itself. So, I have added Happy Thanksgiving from the IT guy. I've turned Thanksgiving into a hashtag.
And I have posted or set it to public. And I'm just going to click post. And as you click post,
it's going to show up almost immediately in your feed, as it did. And then from here,
and from there, you can share it to whomever you wish. Down here, this is the universal share
button. I'm going to click that. And it has some built-in prompts where you can share to
certain social medias directly. Or you can just hit copy. This will copy the link, and you can
share that somewhere else. Or you could even share it in another post. Let's say you're looking at
somebody else's post, and you want to share it in yours. You can click share a post, and that'll
do that, too. But that's basically it. Here you have it. Just a nice, quick little card
themed with Ganjing World's Thanksgiving theme. Thanks for watching.
