Emmanuel Macron has faced uneasy reactions from European allies after he refused to rule out sending Western ground troops to Ukraine.

The French President made the remark at a meeting of more than 20 European leaders in Paris. The conference was convened as a show of support for Ukraine against Russia's war of aggression.
