Can Asian TikTok Help Joe Biden Win?

is Joe Biden relying on young Asians from Tik Tok to swing the vote for him let's talk about what's going on you know this is so typical of sleepy Joe he's going to the Tik Tock influencers to try to secure the election going to Tik Tock uh we got to talk about it Andrew because President Biden has joined Tik Tok in a bid to reach younger voters let's run the clip Chiefs or Niners two great quarterbacks hard to decide but if I didn't say I was for the eagle and I'd be sleeping alone my wife's a Philly girl game or commercials game game or Halftime Show game Jason Kelce or Travis Kelce mama kelse and saying she makes great chocolate chip cookies deviously plotting to rig the season so the Chiefs would make the Super Bowl or the Chiefs just being a good football team I'm getting trouble fight Trump or Biden are you kidding Biden oh and did it work did it work on your young mind was that riveting material I don't know I it wasn't the most captivating and obviously in the comments section mostly it's people that are making fun of him Mama Kelsey her chocolate chip cookies she makes great chocolate chip cookies all right here's my question though and first of all I don't blame him for trying to use Tik Tok and trying to reach a younger demographic because he's going to need him is it his only chance to win I don't know I don't know the numbers so I don't know how important it is for him but clearly it could mean something significant or else they wouldn't do it now here's the thing guys does it hurt him to be on Tik Tok my theory is that it doesn't hurt Joe Biden to be on Tik Tok even though he's not making captivating material because the people who already don't like Joe Biden are already going to make fun of him and not vote or vote against him that's it already that's said so it can only help him a little bit well he's trying to activate people who are not excited about him but would never vote for Trump right right right so I see what they're trying to do I don't think it's wrong but I don't think it's going to help a lot but I don't think it's going to hurt him either because the people who already don't like him have decided that much well we're going to get into it make sure you like subscribe turn on your notifications but you know what you guys need to vote uh vote on and check out regardless of whoever becomes the next basically it's a republican meme so he's trying to troll Republicans by embracing it in very jenzy tone obviously this is not Biden running this campaign I don't think he looks at memes I don't think he spends a lot of time on a smartphone no 81 yeah I think the Democrats are trying to be more self-aware and a little bit more fun with it because they figure hey guys what can we lose if we're a little bit sarcastic and trolly this is how people speak this is how you reach young people and this is how you get them to react well Andrew it's actually going to come down to young people and potentially Asian here's the how the M whoa whoa David if you got the St about Asians you got to explain this one because how can Asians especially young Asians which are a small group help Joe Biden that much there's six swing States Georgia Arizona North Carolina Michigan Wisconsin Pennsylvania now you could say Okay Asians don't make up a huge population of those States I agree even though they are growing in Georgia the Atlanta you know duth area a lot of Asians however here's the thing Asians theoretically make up out sized amount of influen on Tik Tok Tik Tok is also to be fair a Chinese own platform interestingly enough we're going to get into that later if he gets popping amongst Asians Asians could affect the youth that are primarily white and black in these swing States so you so wait how do the Asians impact it no Asians make up a disproportionate amount of Tik Tok influen okay all right I mean I I guess I see what you're saying I think though at the end of the day people have to sign sign up to vote and it's not about capturing the most people's opinion because my opinion doesn't matter if I don't vote well not only that your opinion doesn't matter because you're in a state that has already spoken for right so only people's vote in the swing States really matter so I'm sure that on this Tik Tok page he's going to even try to gear the content to reach people in these states a little bit more what video are you referring to well I'm referring to this video right here the president president came to my house to have dinner this is me my name is Eric fit and President Biden wanted to talk to me because I was a recipient of student loan forgiveness from his administration through the Public service loan forgiveness program I had over $90,000 of loans erased and this has been a game changer for me and how I can provide for my boys the president sat with us for an hour the boys in chicken fingers I had a double cheeseburger and the president had a hamburger and a chocolate shake five four three two one so basically at this point the presidents only care about young people that are not or or voters that turned out before for like Obama or previous elections that this year they're not excited anymore he's trying to get them reignited like reigniting a Cole that has gone cold can Joe Biden be exciting I don't think exciting is the word I don't think first of all I I'll give it to Trump man Trump is able to make people feel emotional and when you're emotional I think you're more you're more likely to vote and take it to the extent of voting of getting up or writing in your ballot and actually doing the work of voting because the act of voting in America is very clunky and like from 100 years ago yeah so you have to feel a little bit passionate at least about your vote you know what I mean so even if you can get people interested but they don't vote it's ultimately not going to matter I'll say this before we get into the comment section if everybody had to had mandatory voting in America like they have in Australia it would change a lot because the process of voting is incredibly clunky dude if you could sign up with three-step verification on your phone to vote facial SSN all your information if you could put that in and vote off of your phone that would change the game that would actually be like true democracy but obviously a lot of like older people don't want you well they don't want 18year olds to vot promises people everything up until the age of their 22 or whatever anyway let's just get into it somebody just said man this whole president of the United States election thing is just in gigantic farce between two old men trying to appeal to indifferent voters who are already sick and tired of their Corruptions lies and incompetence what what he goes what's next Trump getting on tick talked attempting to break dance that's funny com oh that's a funny idea yeah um somebody just said listen if I have to vote between milk toast and corrupt I'll take boring every day basically saying yeah Biden might be cile but it doesn't seem like he acts on it and then Trump is corrupt obviously and essentially just does whatever he wants yes if you think Trump is actually has bad intentions then you should not vote for him right that is true um people were just saying how silly did he look look in these Tik toks how silly did Biden look cuz he it was true that he was not even take taking a stance on anything he doesn't even want to say which Kelsey brother he likes more let alone uh Chiefs or 49ers right it wasn't riveting material I guess it's just kind of like even if he can just get some introductions to people I guess they're just they're just looking for small wins you know I don't think they're spending a whole lot of time on this Tik Tok page they're repurposing content from other content pieces that they've made so I I I I just think it's not a huge cost to them is what I'm assuming um a lot of people were talking about how technically federal government employees are not allowed to have Tik to on their phone but now Biden is basically his last chance bet to win the election is activating dormant voters through Tik Tok right but obviously the people who are using Tik Tok right now for Biden they're probably not federal employees they work for his campaign so that's why saying that's the legality well that's why it's okay that they can film Joe Biden and post Tik Tok material but what if it gets hacked and then now all the voter analytics are available to China well you know what's funny let's say that China is spying on Americans through Tik Tok then China is seeing the president of the United States on Tik Tok right now and like I don't know what they can do with it doesn't really matter you think that other countries are just looking at America right now the president of the United States Andrew he's repurposing conservative memes using it as his Avatar on Tik Tok trying to answer silly ass questions but he's still not taking stances on the silly ass questions to not offend any voter block because this election everybody thinks it's going to be go 5149 either way like what do you think other people are thinking chocolate chip cookies chocolate chocolate chip cookies man he he even named the old style of cookie I was like bro you didn't want to say s'mores or some chocol chocolate chip cookies Macadamia anything more modern from not a 100 years ago uh man man man I'll just say this man here's my takeaway guys and you know us we're very apolitical Andre voted for Dean Phillips though but I'll say this I did um both parties are in a really bad position yeah they are because both leaders suck I don't care who you guys end up voting for if you don't think both options suck you're wrong I I it's kind of I guess David does it it comes down to pick the lesser of two evils right but what does that even mean l does that just mean the quotee unquote deep state of either side whichever direction they pull each like selfish president in is do you just agree with that I feel like the narrative is this right now the left is inept and wastes money and then the right is corrupt or selfish and selfish and and uh Pro that's the narrative so that's the macro Nar because they're like okay Democrats are spending too much on all these wars and stuff that don't conserve blah blah blah why are we spending trillions of dollars I don't like it blah blah blah um and then we can't secure the Border that's the that's the narrative on the left and then the right not taking care of what's at home right yeah and then look oh the right threatens democracy because the right Donald Trump's just going to do what he want he's a he's a gang he's going to threaten the Constitution essentially right yeah so um neither narratives are very good guys so you just I don't know what to do but we do live in a place where you do get a vote and your vote matters a little bit so especially if you're one of those states that actually matters significantly so you know what I've been interested in is the concept of the deep State I've been doing a little bit of research online into you know various things and not not even I'm not talking basically there's a lot of people andw the president is only there for 4 to eight years there's people who are entrenched in positions where they deeply feel convicted to take like the military this way or the military that way for 40 years and sometimes 50 years from like 20 to 70 or 80 these people have been entrenched in these positions And just because you're the president and you come in and you disagree with them they've put 50 years of their life in this Lane they're not just going to let you kind of flippantly go in there and go oh that doesn't make sense let's change that they're going to fight you so you so you could say that the president is actually not that powerful that no matter what Trump or Biden said or did it didn't make that big of a a deal is that what you're saying yes because I'm saying that Trump said recently he would not defend NATO countries against Russia that don't pay back their loans and some people that are hyper business-minded they kind of like that idea right because it's holding like debtors uh incentivizing them but I was reading this thing that said no matter what he does the quote unquote the state of pewa act that uh actually execute he would never be able to pull it off like the president would not be able to shift that entire sector of policy if that policy's been that way for 50 years so it goes it kind of goes to show you that even once there's a president installed it's not like they're not a dictator they just can't do whatever they want so goes to show you man people are going to make campaign promises this way that way but they're Limited in their capacity to execute regardless of whether you agree or disagree
