(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights Darmstadt - Leverkusen
Even though they do have two pretty good target men in Hosek and Iglesias.
Grimaldo back for Hosek, now! And he's put it wide.
Fabian Holland to take this one, it's 289th appearance for the club today.
He swings it in and the header towards goal is comfortable.
In his career in both or when he was in England with Norwich City.
Legs of the referee and onto a carriage.
Pfeiffer on the turn.
Here's Andrić.
Xhaka.
Kapie does he fancy a shot?
Or deflation could be awkward for Schoen.
Always flattering him if Sheffield United and the Premier League is
sitting more than him.
Here's Grimaldo.
And Teller arriving!
Bayer Leverkusen back in the scoring groove.
Nathan Teller.
His first start in the Bundesliga.
Back at the club on loan from Union Berlin.
It's Berlin.
Oh the header down and it's straight to Radetzky.
Here he is though with the touch for Wiertz.
And Hosek.
Happy to carry it on here.
Xhaka there's not much going on.
There's no real advantage to be had since that.
Towards Hosek.
This is Borja Iglesias!
Can't take his chance.
I think the flag was up anyway.
No centre-back has played for the club more than he has.
Iglesias with the touch.
Robert Andrić.
Stop from Schoen.
Double figures now for Assis.
And here's Wiertz.
And it could have been another one.
Wiertz with the space.
Does Wiertz go alone?
He plays it for Teller.
He'd simply don't stop those.
A thunderous hit from Nathan Teller.
Just wondered what Wiertz was going to do.
What power that Teller has got behind that.
It is a fabulous goal.
Simply unstoppable.
Schoen.
Oh dear.
Ball clearance.
Iglesias.
And Wiertz!
Oh back off the frame of the goal.
Well Schoen here.
It's a terrible clearance.
And very nearly paying for that.
Iglesias.
Iglesias!
Oh!
It's a good save from Schoen denying him a debut goal.
Taps over covers.
And Bayer Leverkusen
maintain this unbeaten run.
Still to be beaten in the Bundesliga.
A comfortable afternoon for Xabi Alonso.
