Rep. McEntire speaks against shifting general elections to even-numbered years for local governments

Rep. McEntire speaks against House Bill 1932, legislation that would allow local governments to choose to hold elections in even-numbered years. McEntire points to a number of reasons why this is a bad idea and costly for local governments. The bill passed the House by a vote of 52-45.
