What Happened To PewDiePie? 😮🤫😱

PewDiePie the YouTube mega star that everybody has seen I'm sure you've seen him and if you haven't you're probably telling porcupines PewDiePie whose real name is Felix childberg kelberg I can't pronounce that started his career on YouTube in 2010 posting videos of him just playing computer games a little bit of Minecraft to begin with over the years he grew in popularity mainly due to his his outlandish kind of personality he's screaming his reactions to the horror videos is quite funny engaging witty and in 2013 he hit the Pinnacle of YouTube as the most subscribed YouTuber he even beat out Smosh he held this momentous Peak for many years including hitting 100 million subscribers now PewDiePie has Diversified his content a lot over the years initially it was gaming and then it turned into reactionary content and then user generated content that his fans would send in with Hawaii commentary current events and recently vlogging now that sounds rather Rosy and it is but there has been some controversy in the YouTube career of PewDiePie in 2017 he faced some backlash when he was allegedly connected to some anti-semitic commentary some of the language in his videos kind of hinted at anti-semitic themes he later apologized and removed that content I personally feel that there was never real malice behind that I believe it was just dark humor in 2018 this reared its head again when he accidentally publicized and promoted a channel that was promoting anti-semitic content he condemned it he apologized and he moved on that this is where the damage was caused this was the first wave of the demonetization that all YouTubers have come up against the adpocalypse not only has he said accidentally things that either sounds like or was the n-word on a live stream when shooting people but this anti-semitic Edge that was it that the the straw that broke the camel's back for the advertisers at that point supposedly what it actually meant is that they was able to pull out all advertising and then come back in six months time when it was cheaper so the businesses didn't really lose out did they Hmm this obviously led to a decline in revenue for PewDiePie for those few months he was kicked out of YouTube preferred and he was removed from Revel mode which was his own kind of network he actively kind of withdrew I feel from the YouTuber Community a little bit because he was interacting and making his own kind of MCN with Revel mode and then this kind of slapped him in the face he also had his YouTube original taken away you scare PewDiePie scare PewDiePie too and at this point I get the feeling that Felix was like well I've earned enough of my money now I'll just kind of I don't need to deal with other people's issues and he kind of step back a bit focus a little bit more on him rather than the Persona that he had made for himself now since hitting 100 million subscribers and beat T-Series to 100 million and then being overtaken he's kind of semi-retired he's even gone on record and said that he's semi-retired in his head so instead of publishing daily now he publishes whatever he feels like and whatever he feels like is recently moved to Japan and he's recently announced that he's going to become a father I don't feel that this is a rise and fall I don't feel this is a condemnation of some people like I've done on this channel sometimes with the where are they now videos this is more of a case of this was a young man growing up to the world he was never truly offensive like a Sam Pepper or anything like that he's just grown up and he's grown up on the internet that could be a major problem PewDiePie continues to publish on a fairly regular basis as I said he's enjoying his life in Japan and he's gonna have a life as a father soon congratulations overall the fame doesn't seem to have gone to his head he's not buying private jets and riding around in Lamborghinis it just goes to show that some people can handle it but some people can't why don't you check out this playlist here and see what other people and where they are now
