2024 Salomon Bliss - SkiEssentials.com Snowboard Test

Hello women snowboarders, JG here at Ski Essentials in Stowe, Vermont, and today I'm talking about some of the Salomon boards that we had at our 2024 On Snow test last spring at Stowe, and today I am talking about the Salomon Bliss. This is a really impressive board. Both Kiki and Lindsey both gave it an overall rating of a seven. This is geared more towards beginner to intermediate riders, your first board, or maybe even your second board. It's a directional shaped board, slight amount of taper, really nice even flex to it, $399, great price point, and it's got a little bit of camber. I really like the looks of this board and I can just tell with, you know, hand flexing it, reading a lot of the reviews, seeing some of those ratings and sevens, it's really, really caught my eye. I like the looks of it, I like the graphics, it's just kind of really nice and clean, can't go wrong. I think, you know, if you're looking for your first board or your second board, look at a nice soft even flex. I'm all about like soft flexing boards. It's just more versatile, a little bit more easy going, less, you know, less energy going in, get plenty of edge hold. This board can handle like groomers, some new snow, just because it is a directional shape, don't think you can't ride switch on or do freestyle maneuvers on it, it can do it all. And at that price, I don't think there's a better deal, you know, out there for women's specific boards in a directional shape like this. So Bliss, this happens to be the 144 from Salomon. Really take a look at it, it's really, I'm impressed and I know a lot of our testers were impressed with it as well. So if you have any questions about this board or any of the other boards that Salomon has, give us a call here at Ski Essentials.
