The Local Snowboarders of Kashmir India

You have sneakers? Four for 200. Yo! Okay! Yep! That was good. Alright, good morning everyone. Today's our third day of snowboarding here in India. The last few days it's been snowing non-stop. It's been relentless and it's dumped like almost two meters of snow up here on the mountain. We're riding with some locals today, so it should be good times. Awesome! So good! What snack is this one? Like an NGO he started, charity. Non-profitable trust. Like 75 or something was snowboard. They were first snowboarders here. He installed snowboarders for Kashmir. Three of course. They teach us more than two or three years. Then Michael left his equipment here. That was a point when we started. That was a revolution here for snowboarding. For locals. Snowboarding expedition here! Come on! Woo! First one will go here. Doing the run like this, then going up, doing the run like this, then going up. We have to make money to do snowboarding. India is absolutely one of the best places for snowboarding. The one thing to remember though is that this place is pretty wild, so you need to have your gear. There is risk. Avalanches do happen up there. So safety has got to be number one. If every snowboarder who has the desire comes out here, it's going to create an even bigger explosion of snowboard culture here in India. You're going to have an incredible experience.
