expanded transactions so just to clarify
those are actual transactions that have
gone out to small businesses via Al
loone or
investment um in a reporting guidance it
said the due dat is March 31st um just
because March 31st falls on the Sunday

updated template and give you some
samples of transactions um how to
complete each um tab um supporting
transaction um and J Will demo how to um
access and upload your um template in
the reporting portal and Reporting
portal we're using the same portal as
the reports and the annual um in the
dispersement process so that's the
reporting photo that Clos the annual and
that's same thing from last year um
there's some slight updates in this year

I'll stop talking and just as the
clarification the portal will open open
um sometime um early February and soon
and of course um we'll provide more
detail on that so I st talking um the
floor is yours thank you everybody for
joining us and thank you
SL thank you MMA um okay so we will be
sharing the presentation with all
attendees after this presentation so no
need to take notes on what you see on
these slides um with that let's get
started with the first slide on what is
annual
reporting um the ssbci capital program
reporting guidance states that each
jurisdictions um must submit annual
report for each calendar year by March
31st of the following year um annual
reporting jurisdictions will need to
provide information about providers and
approved programs as well as transaction
level data for each sspc supported loan
or investment including characteristics
about small business borrower or invest
the purpose of the loan or investment
information about private financing and
loan or investment
performance um to facilitate
jurisdictions U meeting the rep
reporting requirements we created a
customized annual reporting template for
each jurisdiction to submit in the uh
reporting portal where we will cover the
reporting portal later um in the
training um the customized template will
include pre-populated data such as the
approved program name
and program type for all jurisdictions
um and for jurisdictions that reported
expended transactions for calendar year
2022 the customized template will also
contain pre-populated provider
information um if the uh if the program
if the approved programing is incorrect
on your template please let us know
before you submit your and your
report uh the customized template will
contain seven tabs um great will cover
how how data should be reported in the
template for each um ssbci support loan
investment um later in the
presentation um additionally
jurisdictions must also provide a
concise narrative for each active
program along with your completed annual
report um we will cover the annual
report narrative um later in the
presentation okay moving to the next
slide uh on who who needs to submit an
annual report
um annual report is required for all
jurisdictions that sign the allocation
agreement onor before December 31st 2023
one thing to keep in mind that
differentiates um the annual report from
the quarterly um is that the annual
focuses on only expended transaction
whereas for quarterly uh your for your
reporting expended obligated or transfer
um Al know call
eot um if a jurisdiction has it's been a
transaction in
2023 uh you must submit an annual report
transactions um are considered expended
in calendar calendar year 2023 if ssbci
funds were dispersed to a borrower or
invested by December
31st um and if jur do but jics do not
have expanded transaction calendar year
2023 uh the jurisdiction still need to
acknowledge in section three of the
portal that there are no transactions to
report in order to fulfill the annual
reporting
requirement okay um moving to the next
slide on when are annual reports due to
treasury uh annual reports must be
submitted to submitted by March 31st of
the following year as you can see on the
table um and as M uh Ed in in her intro
that since the deadline for this
reporting year falls on a Sunday
treasury will accept annual reports to
subed um by Monday April 1st and the
customized uh annual report templates
will be available for download um by
next Tuesday February 6 if this if the
this date change we will communicate
update date um through your Outreach
managers um the portal will open for
submission starting on March 1st and and
will close on April 1st um we will also
send out email reminders to all
participating Juris at the beginning of
the submission window and ALS and we'll
send additional reminders prior um to
the submission deadlines um before we
move to the next slide um since I know
I've been doing a lot of dates here so
just want to recap um the customized
template will be available to uh to
should be available to download by uh
February 6 that means that before this
date there'll be no template available
for jurisdictions to download um and
let's say you download a template on
February 6 and you you complete the
template by February 20th you will not
be able to upload the completed template
or the or your narrative by March 1 um
the beginning of the submission window
the last they submit the completed
template um is April
1st okay uh moving on to next
slide okay uh where's the annual report
template um you can find it the
customized annual report template in the
sspc reporting portal this is the same
portal where jurisdictions where you
submit your application and quilly
Report uh the annual report template
must be submitted through the portal to
meet um the the annual reporting
requirements um once you complete the
template just should upload certify and
submit the completed report within uh
the submission
window okay moving on to next
slide uh okay so the annual report
portal so looking for you Jay would demo
the submission process in the portal in
detail uh later this slide is to to
provide quick preview of the portal for
the annual submission um the layout
similar to the quter report however
there are five sections um SE section
one is the user instruction section two
is to participate in jurisdiction
information section three is where you
would download the template upload the
completed annual report or provide a
negative response we do not have
expended transaction or calendar year
2023 um section four is a new section
the portal for the annual report
narrative um I will provide an overview
on my next slide section five is the
last section um of the port of the
annual report portal where you are
certifi and
submit um also in section five is where
if jurisdictions upload the um the wrong
annual report during the submission
window or realizes uh the additional
change need to be made to the template
you will have an OP an opportunity to un
submit your annual report template in
the portal um keep in mind this only
applies during the submission window
after the submission deadline the
unsubmit button will no longer be
available um and Jay uh will go over the
that process later as well uh moving on
to the next slide on annual ort
narratives okay jurisdiction must
provide a narrative for each of your
active approv program along with your
completed annual report
um jurisdictions utilize The Narrative
to provide updates on the progress of
your approv program and highlight future
successes anticipated as these program
continue to provide Capital Access to
our Capital to provide access to capital
for small businesses um jurisdictions
that provide negative response in
section three will not need to upload a
narrative um please take the time to
read what include a narrative uh which
are listed here and also um and the
portal okay um mov on
to my last slide before Grace takes over
um is accessing the annual report um
there are different level of access
based on your assign role in the portal
uh Dave will be going over the different
level of access in his demonstration
later but um we wanted to highlight the
different level uh levels here the
account administrator role is the most
restrictive role this user user can only
View and download the template um the
next level is the account point of
contact or PC role this user is able to
view and download the template but this
user can upload a completed report
lastly the authorized representative
role can view download the template
upload a completed report and is the
only user who can certify and submit um
if the user does not have an authorized
representative role an error message
will appear preventing the user from
submitting the report
um I will now pass over to Grace who
will go over how to complete the
template thank
you
