Rep. Ed Orcutt discusses his support for Initiative 2111 and Initiative 2109 | January 30, 2024

Rep. Ed Orcutt, ranking Republican on the House Finance Committee, discusses his support for Initiative 2111 and Initiative 2109. Both measures were certified by the Secretary of State and are now before the Legislature for consideration.

Initiative 2111 would prohibit state and local personal income taxes. Initiative 2109 would repeal the state’s capital gains tax.
