The Glorious Sons Makes Grilled Shrimp Tacos - COOKING AT 65MPH Ep. 33

you hey how you doing I'm Brad Evans from the glorious Suns today we are making a shrimp taco dish with mango salsa me and mama started a thing called the dinner club also the meal club cost of each member six dollars a day feeds them for the whole tour over the past I found myself spending thousands of dollars on liquor and dinners and I kind of want something more than a little basement apartment at home when I finish with all this so welcome to the RV and welcome to the meal club so we're gonna use some lime for the salsa some red pepper for the salsa and of course a master ingredient the mango and some salt and pepper because you should probably put that on everything and we're just gonna cut up some slices of avocado the top everything off as well as some shrimp we're gonna put that on the grill get all toasty and then this salad is simply just going to be lettuce salad dressing all right I guess I'll start started my preparation now full disclosure I'm not much of a cook but I don't think many of the band members are much eaters so it's not a big deal it's kind of the reason we're doing it too is to get better of cooking yeah and to feel like you're camping yeah you can't and in the city you know it's a busy this is kind of a it's kind of a sweet thing to be able to do and when you do these kinds of jobs it reminds you of you know the unique situation you find yourself in as a human being and gets to drive all around a country and in camp for a living so you know we're gonna have fun with it so like I said I don't know how to do this very well but I'm gonna do it the best I can the Barbies warning I'm gonna get the sausages yeah we're also having sausages because this is a little special meal that we're prepared for you we're also gonna have a sign of sausages in buns hmm might cut my hand a few times it's okay who needs hands I would love you good salt and pepper all right this is Jeff Chang our sound guy he's gonna provide us with some good salt and pepper Jeff isn't an actual experienced cook steaks he's also a bit of a wine connoisseur he likes to pair wise mistakes sometimes we'll find ourselves on campsites in the country when we have the days off along the lake and we'll eat steaks and drink wine and watch the hockey games the playoffs are happening right now go Jets we get along pretty well on this thing he gives others more anxiety than it then than it does me I pretty much found a little home on this place so there's all that [ __ ] I'm just gonna separate these plates so now we're gonna have to dice these or cut them up into smaller pieces probably have to get smaller than me as well we'll figure the noon as we go hey Ronnie this is Riley's part of the east part of the meal it up finally official member of the meal Club for service as you can see me and mom are the cult presidents it was it was mambas dream and then I figured out how to make it a real thing as you can see they're not really very many health standards on the RV we're gonna walk over to our hole like that we're just gonna take this spoon a little mixing mix it's mine delicious I'm just gonna cut this up okay so yeah boom see that was professional that looks pretty professional so these are all really gross foods to handle with your hand so it's not gonna be a very graceful looking the video but can you do all right I was discussing [Music] so now that we have this stuff prepared I think it's time we can probably take this enough so much easier with tinfoil I'm gonna salt and pepper the whole thing we can do a saucy shrimp mango sauce a dish you can cut the sausages up and the pieces I throw in there look at that yeah I keep going you want more for everybody no the dopey others your co-president okay how about that a little more salt to know all right should we put the lid down yeah and slum [ __ ] me a success we're succeeding minutes all right it smells real good too it's gonna be delicious put an egg and now I make it home all right turn off barbecue safety first kids it's a hell of a meal there it's a good-looking man along with that make their salad yes she said well we probably spin around I don't know what that was I bet you $25 for this whole thing 25 to 30 dollars for this whole spread it's gonna feed six people you know Susie say us 20 bucks well and then you can throw in all the little things I suppose yeah so yeah but you really can't you can't offer value like going and shopping and buying this [ __ ] because honestly I spent so much money and restaurants that I couldn't afford just because I wanted to go you know eat something at some point during the day and pick or even restaurants you can't afford that those $15 a meal freaking it really hands up and [Music] there's no point in going on the road if you're coming off the road bro you know nothing you have to make you money and this is the way to make it never miss playing shows going on the road playing in front of a bunch of people and you know you have to be frugal alright so come on yeah what do you say yeah yes now just don't for me a good man all right thank you from figured every steak we did see its mistake
