Cookin' leftover fish in a bag.
But she's frozen.
About 80%.
It's also been in my freezer for like a year.
But this'll be fun.
It's very possible that's grouper.
If you love fish, you know grouper's good.
Ew!
This is exciting.
Step one, get some water.
Hot water should be fine.
So we'll heat all the fish.
I'm looking in my pan.
I have green tortillas.
Why?
I'm using it.
Ooh, should we do fried fish and grilled fish?
Yes.
Then we got some regular tortilla.
Let's grab my fish fry and dump that in the bowl.
Little bit of panko breadcrumbs.
Why does that look gray?
It can't be right.
A little more.
Because I like my fish tangy, I'm
going to grab my Danno's chili lime
and go down with a hefty amount.
This stuff is spicy and tangy and great.
A little more.
Mix that in a good bit.
Batter's done.
Then grab a pan.
This guy.
Oh my god.
Why is everything full?
And then I need my other pan.
There.
That's the pan.
There.
And go in with some oil.
Just a little.
Go ahead and heat the oil up.
And this is for the pan sear.
Little bit of oil.
Rub that around.
Heat that up as well.
Now we got to open the mystery fish bag.
Swear that's grouper, dude.
What else would that be?
Cut it open.
Dump the fish out.
Still a little frozen.
But this is a big fish.
What is this?
Have no idea.
We're just going to chop it up.
Dude, look at those fillets.
This is going to be a good taco, dude.
All right.
My pan's starting to get hot.
I'm drying off three of these fillets.
Pat, pat, pat.
Go down with some Danno's chili lime.
Fair amount of.
Pat it in.
Flip it over.
Repeat.
My fish is coated.
Into the pan.
Wait, hold on.
I need some more oil.
Now we'll lay in the fish.
That's going to be good.
Fire!
Roll that oil around.
Going to grab this fish.
Throw it in the leftover Danno's.
Move that around a good bit.
Don't want to waste that stuff.
This is good.
A little bit more.
And then into the breadcrumbs.
Bam.
Roll those around.
Push them in real good.
Check the oil temperature.
It's starting to bubble.
I know it's good.
Just grab that fish and drop it in the bath.
I'm really excited to try this.
There is something about a simple dish
that is just the best.
Keep that coated in the oil.
Come back to the fish, dude.
Starting to sweat.
That's how you know it's ready to flip.
Ready for a flip.
Look at that.
Look at that, dude.
Oh my gosh.
Come on.
This is going to be the same.
Oh my gosh.
All right.
We'll let those cook a little longer.
I'm going to go add some butter into the pan.
Move that around.
All I know is that is looking good, son.
Don't forget about this guy.
Say she's ready for a flip.
Oh baby.
That's looking good.
Push it off to the side.
Turn that off.
Let that cook for about a minute longer.
I really want to thoroughly cook this fish.
I'm going to grab the tortilla.
I'm going to throw it down and crispen it up.
Give her a flip every now and then.
Remove this from the heat.
It's starting to look perfect.
Grab some napkins.
Place them down.
Back to this guy.
Oh baby.
Let's go ahead and grab the fish.
Place it on the napkin.
The color on that is perfect.
So is this guy.
Over there.
Cook a few of those.
A few more of those.
And then we're going to plate these tacos and try them out.
All I know is this is looking good.
All right.
I'm going to grab the fish.
We're going to place it down.
Fill in two pieces.
I want to dump on some of that juice.
Grab this.
Put this over here.
Right there.
Go down with a little sauce on this.
I'm going to squeeze on some of that lemon juice.
Same with this one.
I'm going to go down with just a little bit of cilantro.
And boom.
Just like that, bro.
You got some tacos.
I am excited for this one.
Look how juicy it is.
Here we go.
