(Premier League 2023/2024): Highlights Arsenal - Crystal Palace

A big level of excitement for this one. Big level of, you know, we're into the, we're not quite into the meat and drink and the business end of the season, but we're getting to that point where you need to position yourself. And pressuring teams when they've got the ball. Rice sends the corner in and looks for Gabriel! White makes a dash towards the near post, this is bloated in. Looking for Gabriel, it's awkward and it's touched over, well touched away from goal by Henderson. That was chaos, absolute chaos. The ball was cleared by a Palace defender but it struck. What a save by Raya to his right. Mentioned already, he comes dashing in to cause problems. This is sent into the box, it's awkward and is it going to go in? Given it's a real scramble, Trossard is being congratulated. But the ball's in the net and it's a goal for Arsenal. And the Gunners are finishing this half strongly. Trossard into Havertz and then it's going to be given back to Trossard. Having been returned by Jesus. Edge of the box, he's going to clip this towards the far post. Raya comes and gathers too easily. Anderson is claiming he had his shirt tugged. But Jesus, who gallops into space down the right. And Trossard's free if he can find him. And here is Trossard, checks under, he's right in front! And Jesus finds Trossard. Martin Odegaard, who is paid to be a professional footballer, is lying on the floor. As he strikes it! Great save by Raya out to the ground in disappointment as Arsenal break things up. And Martinelli is through on goal here for four! And it's Tenderson into the bottom corner. Arsenal's afternoon is complete. They are going to win their first game since the 17th of December 2024. But this has been a very different story. And here goes Martinelli again inside the penalty area. Is this five? Yes it is! The space of a minute. It's all over. Arsenal have won at a canter.
