These looks are based on what I actually wear at both minus degrees.
My base is made out of a modal and cashmere long-sleeved top and a 40 den semi-sheer tights.
These are the only tights I feel comfortable wearing currently.
You could wear thermal leggings instead.
Before I go out the door, I usually wear a pair of wool cashmere socks on my feet.
Look number 1.
For this look, I'm wearing a pair of loose-fitted grey pants and a grey wool sweater that I'm
tucking in.
To cinch in the waist, I added on a black belt to add interest and shape to this monochrome
look.
I added on velcro stickers to the belt to keep the extra long hanging part of the belt
in place.
As for the accessories, I'm wearing a golden necklace, my beloved watch and my favorite
earrings of the week.
My hair is kept in a low bun for a business savvy look.
For the shoes, I'm going for black ankle boots, my most worn boots in the cold season.
The outerwear for this look is a long belted and tailored wool black coat.
Now, this look alone won't keep me entirely warm, so therefore, I would add on an oversized
wool scarf over my shoulders that matches the overall look.
It keeps the upper part of my body nicely warm and it is versatile enough to be worn
any way needed, like over the head for instance.
Also this scarf really brings the entire look together.
And also, I went for a tote bag that doesn't attract much attention but complements the
entire outfit.
With this look, as you see here, I'm wearing a pair of long wool and leather gloves.
Next, we're styling a striped wrap skirt that sits a bit loosely on my waist.
As a quick fix for oversized skirts like this, I usually just tie the back part with a scrunchie
and then just put the extra piece in white.
It doesn't look too bad and won't be noticeable with a look like this.
Next, I'm layering up with a wool cashmere black long sleeve top, which I tucked into
the skirt to stay cozy.
For the jewelry, I added on this teardrop silver necklace.
Now, for an outfit like this, I would always add an extra layer for warmth and style.
For this particular look, I decided to wear this navy cape with statement buttons and
add a belt to give the look some dimensions around the waist by cinching in the front
part of the cape and leaving the back part loose.
With this look, you could go for more fitted or wide long boots.
I went for the wider boots as it also goes perfectly well with this outfit.
Now, to switch things up a little bit, I decided to wear an oversized light beige coat
that I loved last year, but this year it just makes me look extremely huge.
But it still works well with this look when paired with the bag in the same color.
The cape keeps my neck perfectly warm, but you could add a white scarf for extra warmth.
Now, for the overall look, I'm wearing a black hat and the previous black leather gloves for overall warmth.
Alright, here for this look, we're adding a pair of straight leg black trousers.
Over the tights and over the upper base layer, we're wearing a black blue speed wool sweater.
I usually turn the high neck inwards as it looks like you put more effort into styling your outfit.
Now, you could wear a necklace over the sweater or keep that area jewelry free,
but I decided to wear a necklace for an extra pop of something for the overall black look.
Now, here are the wool socks I usually wear that keeps my feet extremely warm on very cold days.
For the shoes, I went for my trusty ankle boots again.
As for the coat, I'm wearing this stunning mid-length leather coat with a belt.
Look how the quilted details of this coat adds a stunning interest to this overall look.
So, here is one thing I love doing with my outfit.
It is adding some sort of other color to a monochrome look at times.
So, as you can see here, I added on a beige beanie instead of a black beanie.
I love doing so as many might just go for an overall black look instead of switching things up a little bit.
At first, I couldn't really decide on a bag to carry,
but then I went for a regular black bag that doesn't attract too much attention from the coat and beanie
just to make everything look more seamless.
I finished this look up with the leather gloves and sunnies.
In winter, I really enjoy wearing dresses,
and I recently got this striped dress on sale from my absolute favorite brand recently.
But before putting this on, I usually wear some sort of shorts underneath my dresses,
especially in winter when it's freezing cold and the wind is blowing.
And next for this look, I went in with an extra layer of cashmere modal turtleneck top before adding on the dress.
I really love how this striped dress elongates my silhouette while still adding figure.
As for the jewelry, I went with this necklace, which was a wedding gift I got many years ago.
And on my wrist, I'm wearing this lovely bracelet I got as a Christmas present.
And for the shoes, I went for pointed knee-high boots for extra length, style, and warmth.
Here again, instead of going full monochromatic, I added on a long brown wool coat as well as a brown bag.
Lastly, ladies, I added on a black beanie and the leather gloves.
Moving on to look number 5.
I recently just got my hands on these black denims as I really needed a pair of regular straight leg denims in my wardrobe.
For this look, I took off the tights as I really dislike the feeling of tights underneath my denims.
To keep my feet warm, I'm wearing a pair of wool socks.
They don't itch, surprisingly, and they do really keep warm.
And over my base top, I'm wearing a white high-neck wool top with ruffles.
I love the detailing of this piece, ladies.
In winter, layering with beneficial materials is very important to keep the body temperature well regulated and warm.
And next, I decided to add a textured cardigan over the ruffled sweater for extra style and warmth again.
And now for the shoes, I decided to wear these really sturdy patent leather boots in dark brown color.
As for the coat, I'm wearing this really old quilted coat that has followed me through many cold winter days.
And honestly, ladies, I don't really wear scarves with coats like this that has a high neck.
But I would most definitely wear the hoodie with my hair open to cover up my ears or wear a hat instead of the hoodie.
Now for the bag, I went with a crossbody bag.
And as you can see, the statement of this look is most definitely the patent leather boots.
And for me, in winter, it's always important to cover up as much of my body with different layers.
As you can see, long boots and long coats in almost all the outfits.
I think the shortest coat was this one here in this video.
Alright, these all address my cold winter weather in Austria.
Let me know if this winter look would work for you.
See you in my next video. Thanks for watching and goodbye ladies.
