what's up skaters hello and welcome back
to yet another video what we're going to
be doing today is another Street part
review but this one's going to be a trip
down memory lane because we're going to
be reacting to one of John Hill's very
first skate Parts when he was on
birdhouse that was a while back I know
with that all being said we've got this
video here John Hill par we're going to
click that full screen it and probably
mute it because of the music situation
and then just do a little review on the
tricks let's
go okay so for you that don't know John
used to be on birdh house before he ful
started doing YouTube and stuff like
that when he was going for like the more
core skater thing obviously I can't
speak on behalf of him this is just what
I've learned through watching some of
his content over the years but anyway he
used to be on birdh house now he
currently on revive this is one of his
very first Parts I believe so let's jump
into it and he still looks the same age
now if anything looks older
there little flat ground Nolly
flip front tail slide front heel to
switch Manny bro that's actually nuts I
didn't realize John had obviously I've
seen loads of his video so I know he's
super consistent and really sick but I
didn't know he had like that kind of
tech on
him do a little nose
bong little front side nose grind
180 what we got
next is that varial heel I'm going to
run that one back that looks super like
the the flip on that was like super
vertical we're going to run that one
back and he's wearing the L's they look
like cambridges shout out laai they've
been flowing me shoes for a little while
now and they're pretty sick so if you
want to check them out check them
out yeah that was a fakey varial heal
from our man John that was super
vertical that one pretty
[Music]
cool I'm going to run that one back
too so we're currently in cuz John
skat's the same way as me we're in fakey
fakey front side flip is that a fakey no
slide or a switch tail slide I don't
know you guys can let me
know like I said before I'm not the most
well-known when it comes to ledge
skating okay well we got a little front
crook there nice on the bench that bench
looked like it had been battered look at
the state at the top of that bell
flowers seen
it Bell Flower seen it
all got little full cab flip something
that I've actually spent so much time
trying to learn but only recently has it
started to actually come around I'd say
if you wanted to learn something like
full cab flip just do full cabs
constantly fun fact full cab can
actually be front side and backside as
according to Steve Cab in the nine Club
interview I know a lot of people say
that front side isn't full cab but the
man himself said it so the more you know
okay we got here Nolly Nolly 180 heel
flip down the stairs one thing about JN
is he's so good at having all these
different variations of tricks like he
can do all the kickflip variations seems
to be all the heel flip variations he
can do the minoli fakey front side back
sides 360s 180s double flips John is L
probably the best skateboarder John Hill
probably is the best YouTube
skateboarder in my
opinion all right we got a fakey front
heel
there jeez naughty big heel there hell
yeah what we got next Johnny
Boy the fakey five fakey switch nose
crime whichever you want to call it
where we off to next jeez what was that
was that like a Nolly front side
flip yeah it's definitely Nolly yeah not
front side flip or no it's back side
it's backside when you do it that way is
it
OBS anyway fakey flip down the stairs
not bad fakey flips down stuff well like
even just fakey O's down stuff in my
opinion is such like a timing trick cuz
obviously if you pop it right on the
last stair the ball is just going to go
vertical with which fun fact when I was
younger right and this might be a reason
why I maybe can't have kids in the
future but we'll find out when I was
going to do a Nolly off a bench same
sort of situation as a fake yolly I
popped the Nolly too late and say the
edge of the bench is like here I popped
the Nolly here and the board just went
straight up vertical and I landed on it
like like this I'll let you know in the
future how it goes anyway back to the
thing you got Little Wally 180
there we got fakey Trey noad bit sketchy
on that one I still there some tow drag
on that one we run that back
oh Johnny Boy didn't quite hit the toes
but it was certainly
close we got switch heel down the Gap
too with the cars there that's a risky
one but you know what we rate it I
missed that trick so we just see the
switch heill
again what we got here so here he was
going
Nolly Nolly backside he flip got it see
I'm trying to figure out all these
tricks as I go sometimes I speak a bit
too quickly and mispronounce them Yo
that was sick John I'm going to run that
one back from the start
too okay so we got a little half cab
on now we're in
fakey fakey front side flip is that a
touch on that
man oh that was dangerously
close fakey front side flip catches it
just keeps that tail from in the floor
holds the manual and manages to pop the
180 over the last Gap John's actually
been running this teene for a while it
seems I completely missed that one cuz I
was talking so we got board slide and
then did he hit the truck I didn't see
that that front board side on the rail
nice bit of a sketchy rail there too
dead 180
though all right and then we got the
switch 50/50 50/50 and just normally on
a bar like that can be so
sketchy we got Nolly to Smith or no it's
Nolly fever when you do it that way see
I'm learning I'm getting it right
all okay we're fakey fakey lip slide
Jesus Christ and this is like 10 years
ago so John's been killing it for a
while so that one was
fakey what we got
here damn the flip manuals
the Smith down the
[Music]
rail D I Love A Smith on a rail it just
looks so nice when it locks in like that
that's going to be one of my goals for
the early part of this year I reckon
Smith and round
bars we got front tail oh front tail 270
heel flip out damn that's some serious
Tech tricks and especially for like this
day and age because remember like 10
years ago when this was filmed was way
before all these like crazy Japanese
kids were doing all this nutty stuff
just making us all look like fools this
was way this was way back when this kind
of skateboarding was certainly I
wouldn't say rare but it was certainly a
lot less common to see like kids doing
stuff like this John has had it in the
bag for a while well my friends that was
John Hill skate part if you want to see
me review another one let me know I'll
see you in the next video
