Morning Animal Feed & 50 Rescued Cats Need Homes

within 48 hours we had response for about 27 cats we uh are on a [Music] mission welcome to the tagre woods my name is Mark my wife Tara and happy New Year happy 2024 first weekend of the new year and we got a nice blanket of snow last night might have to snow blow well I think it's supposed to snow a little bit tomorrow as well yeah um but uh yeah Tera Tera loves her new kabot slow snowblower by the way any chance she gets she gets uh wants to get out there and clear that snow get rid of the snow I do I love the tractor or do I hate the snow how's our fluffy ponies this morning ready for breakfast Billy morning y Billy Billy it's cozy in there hey hey maybe we should have another one on the side here yeah a little hatch you you learn right morning girls [Laughter] I know good morning pea fowl guies chickens and our [Music] Littles what do we got we got uh about 3° C so just above freezing so that uh that works out well when it's minus 30 outside it's nice in here yeah oh yeah sure it feels like you're coming into like inside house probably have to go get Java okay right [Applause] [Music] and Jabba's been his eyes been bugging him come you got it Bud the way nope wrong away alpaca don't do good with one eye no so until that gets all sorted he's he's a little uh he's a little clumsy so we got to kind of guide him around don't we Budd Put Me by always looks worse before it gets better yeah yeah it's is moving around cuz you can't see out of one side got food is there [Music] [Music] good cuz you can't see me coming yeah yeah I'm no kidding hopefully it hopefully it heals Blacky I remember when Blackie did hers and I thought we were going to lose the eye yeah boats can handle one eye though they can yeah she was fine yeah but alpaca like I've never seen an oneeyed alpaca no but just like covering one IE total total loss of everything like he would he out there like if he was out and if he ended up like let's say he loses the eye um we'll put him down because they can't like he'll fall in the pond he'll run into tree he'll walk in the fence like there's like they have they can't function with one eye so fingers crossed it heals up nice and uh I mean you only do what you can do right and removing the eyes not the answer cuz you can't work with one eye anyways yeah so it's got to heal [Music] or he I mean he knows where food is when you get them [Music] there going to hear you all oh need more morning Sheldon not [Applause] distracted sit your bum sit your bum sit your bum I didn't see stand up I said sit your bum hey Onyx you getting big girl bye fin hey only took what 3 years what are you girls waiting for oh are you waiting for the melons yeah cuz there's uh there's hay out are you waiting for marleene I don't know if Marlene's cominging today because of the weather she might spoiled is what they are yeah wait for the hay in there is that what you're looking for sorry I don't like it under I don't like it in the what beaders they want it on the ground oh Holly don't be such a bully yeah she's kind of taking over yeah sorryy she's like what are you looking at no you're not coming in I said peety no you're smarty PS hi here you go py chuny Willow you want some Willow sheep aren't supposed to jump up yeah but she does Chief don't jump up sh's like get me out of here I don't eat that stuff I like my dry hay so an update on the cats that we uh caught over the holidays the cream colored one the first one we caught was a male and the the multicolored one the second one that we caught uh was a female uh so those went off to the uh the cat animal rescue in our area uh and I believe one of them was uh picked up and rehomed uh but Tara has more information on that so I'll let her take over okay so I I first off we we hate sending them to rescues because a lot of uh rescues they're overrun with cats aot on our intake freezes um but our local animal control has uh an adoption center that they've you they've created and so we're comfortable knowing that they have a great possibility of finding homes so when I the first one they came and picked up the second one I'm like okay I need to go down there and so I dropped off the second one there and uh breaks your heart cuz they're all in cages and nice cages clean cages well-kept lots of volunteers going around petting and interacting with them but they're still in cages and for cats they are such a Regal animal that it's hard to see them in cages so during my visit I felt it to the the heart and uh now I'm on a mission to find every cat in their facility a home so we are doing well it's been a week now and uh we've got about 27 cat there's there's a total of about uh I think the number was 50 cats that they have and uh within 48 hours we had response for about 27 cats and uh keeps going getting messages daily so we uh are on a mission and uh so far so good it's uh Tiana and I went down there together and they they are very interactive and of course if they're feral they'll be handled and whatnot all fixed and and vetted and and whatnot which is which is good so we are currently on the cat adoption Find homes Mission and and uh this next Saturday we're actually going to go down there and we're going to have uh a visit the cats with the people that are interested uh we're we're not going to open it to everybody we're just going to open it to those that have showed interest and go down and and talk and meet and then we're creating gift gift bags for each cat I don't want to say humans cuz if you take four cats like somebody did yesterday which is so cool because you know if they're they're if they're used to being outside and that conditions as you know as long as they've got a nice warm place to to hang out and food and whatnot then they they can be pretty loyal loyal so uh one of our people that messaged uh went in and adopted four of them yesterday so thank you very much you know who you are and uh so this next Saturday we'll have a little open house for them to come and meet and talk and chat and uh I've been knitting away I've been knitting little cat toys so as you know we make we grow our own uh catnip here so anybody that adopts five or more it might be four depending on where I'm at will get uh a lifetime supply of um catnip catnip hydrol that kind of stuff for their cats and Tara's been busy knitting I already knitted 50 and each cat in the center got its own personal toy uh Friday Friday I went down and I delivered each cat their own personal toy so and they're washable which is nice so they're they're they're not just your you know cardboard Dollar Store uh cat toys they are filled with a uh uh washable and the yarn is washable so that each cat that goes home uh either this last Saturday cuz I delivered them uh bags uh will go home with their own personal stuff and of course good luck on on finding they only need 23 more 23 more I'll do it I will do it promise they all need a good home and there's okay I told I told the center to leave the black ones till the end because most likely you know yeah leave the black ones we'll deal with the black ones later we're not worried about them how's things in your room with the Litt very good I woke up turned my alarm off and then zorya was uh by my feet and then I saw her like a tack crawling her way along my leg went up and she curled up in a ball in my CH on my chest underneath my chin yeah good thing you're not allergic to [Laughter] cats ni our needy child good uh n Lucifer oh and my new teddy bear anara yeah and yeah we showed that in the last video I think no it wasn't done I don't think oh no wasn't it no no it's growing on me I thought it was a little weird looking but it actually looks like a very artistic very um expensive mhm teddy bear well and that's made with our wool yeah that's that's sheep wool yeah yeah so that's our wool that was professionally processed yes yeah okay cuz it's not the craft what is it called craft yarn y craft yarn art yarn who's missing come here NY well there's only three here so yeah NYX needs to be lifted up mommy lift you up she's like yes I must be lifted carted around like a queen then there's another one behind you oh here come here he's like he's like I want treats Oh that's oh there he is over there Toby Toby those treats aren't For You Toby there we go there's tier tier stay tier and Ria and Magie then we have NYX anara Koda Lucifer's got all these to hey I like this on here yeah the cats really like it on there too so this is a uh it's a a pad that you got as part of that donation wasn't it no I got you know it's funny because you if if you collect the free weekend uh the you quality is huge like yeah I like they can Matt it use it and then I'm meticulous at the I love my w i do a lad of laundry a day um because I'm allergic right so you got to keep it clean um but it it's hearty it comes up and like so I brush it brush all the hair out of it throw it in the wash and it comes out like new and they quite like it there's one on the uh couch Ottoman and then I like it up here though I put it up here because it was extra and then all of a sudden they were all over it where's that um hair the cat hair roller oh um we got we had a company send us um yeah that here Ando yeah so it's uh delomo it's called Uh and we received it with just the package and we were like where whatever is this from and um you know your the Grandma's old lint remover yeah it's just well yeah that's it's got two pads like that and this flips back and forth and then draws the um the hair yeah into the into this back section yeah so it's like Grandma's old lint roller on steroids right cuz you can do like multiple hang on let me get you some hair and if you have cats this material that we have it's it's like a c corduroy uh it is well it's the same same stuff this is better right this is the the new chairs that we got and this is the stuff that has been on here for years and the cats get on here and they really go to town on it and we're not concerned with it because they do no damage to it it's impervious to cats which is which is weird yeah I got to recover theonite yeah and it's so you you'll hear them scratching and like you know when you hear them like you're they're on their couch and you're like stop it you hear them and you look back and on the chair and you're like oh well yeah cuz they can't do anything yeah it's uh other than so if you're refinishing any chairs or or Furniture use that type of material if you have cats um yeah no it's really good so right Lucifer year one and code is a big big one Kota really likes to to scratch them up um as long as you're staying away from the the pleather that's on our other Furniture because that stuff just uh destroyed yeah yeah there you can see I should have gotten it it just fills it right off it it works good on the cat tree too [Applause] y ready and then boom okay wo so yeah it just draws it back and forth and pulls it in so it works really well yeah so anyway if we have a I think we have a link to that to we can put it in the description Delo yeah that's the lights in the background you got to go this way see yeah so that's it and it works on like you like serious like Tiana come here yeah let me roll you we well we did braxon and Bren were here at Christmas and they had these sweaters and they were covered yeah and they were covered so we look I'm pulling your hair right oh know I know it's it's awesome yeah no SS good and then you just take it nicely over it yeah and D way you go yep so no more Replacements you get those sticky ones where you rip off the sticker and it lasts like 2 seconds and you're like rip off another sticker yeah yeah I know totally reusable so nice shall we check on the new cats yeah Aurora was sleeping in the basket there you go food oh Aurora was in the basket yeah in the basket over there oh and then she took off I guessing probably she's like what are you doing and there is uh what was ays Aros Aros right hi Aros hi come on come on come up here she's like what do you want from me what do you want hey she doesn't know if she can jump up cuz she's like you're there yeah she's like what is this weird thing looking at me I know you're little down there you go there you go yeah oh no she's camera shy I think she's going to hide behind me yeah what is this so there is the update on uh on the cats on the kittens so it's going to be a a long road for uh arrows and um and Aurora but um I thought you were saying it was going to be a long road for me to find homes for all these cats but I'm like nah by the end of January it should be good for the ones we have yeah yeah so we're also going to um um if you're in the area and uh are looking for cats uh Barn cats or you know little house cat or whatever you're looking for um you can message me and uh I can send you the private information on uh where when and uh costs involved we are uh cutting the cost of adoption in half and then we will be hosting some fundraising goat yoga or classes to cover the cover the cost so that the nonprofit that does have the the cats doesn't isn't struggling right yeah and you can send um if you don't have Facebook she does use Facebook uh you can go uh at the 10 Acre Woods on Facebook uh and uh if you don't have Facebook then you can send an email to 10 acre uh 10 Acre Woods anola m.ca yeah and that's it so that is it for this video I hope you enjoyed it if you have any questions like always please leave them Below in the comment section uh and uh Tara is usually the one that uh responds to them although there are some technical ones that I'll jump in on or I'll or they're directed and for him yeah so anyway until next video have a wonderful week and we'll see you then take care byebye [Music]
