Best Spot for Viewing Taipei 101 in Taipei City, Taiwan! Xiangshan 象山

Xiangshan (象山) is the closest mountain to Taipei 101 in Taipei City, Taiwan.

It's beautiful. And hiking it is a great way to exercise. There's lots of stairs, some of which being rather steep, and perfect for some memorable photos with Taipei 101 in the background. Moreover, as you'll see, there's a fair few angles you can get of Taipei 101.

It was a little busier than I expected, though that didn't really matter. Probably because it's a mountain right by Taipei's major CBD.

There's multiple pathways spanning across the mountain.

Get off at the Xiangshan MRT station Exit 2, (one stop after Taipei 101).
Walk through the park, follow the trail, there's signs that'll point you toward the entrance. I used Google Maps GPS which got me there no problems.
