Hey everyone, welcome to Hey Bartender. My name is Gustavo Rojas, your personal bartender. December
2023 and we're really close to those beautiful festivities. Happy holidays to every single one
of you guys. Thank you so much for the support and today I want to show you how to make something
really cool if you are actually hosting your party in Christmas at home for a very low number of
guests but trust me this idea is going to put you like right on the top of everybody's favorite
location to spend Christmas and also for those little ones that they have no alcohol allowed
to be holding in their hands we're going to be making some really cool cocktails
with the citlips. So please stay here with me,
Production and I, we're going to show you how to rock your Christmas. Here, Hey Bartender.
Production, have you ever had a Christmas tree in a glass?
All right, so I want to show you how to do this thing and I hope everybody actually at
home they see this thing previously on Instagram or on those videos. I saw it, I found it so cool,
I did it right away at the at work and this thing is like so cool. You gotta do it. Okay,
so what we're going to need is, it is up to you and right here I mean please go to previous
cocktails in Hey Bartender videos and get ideas of what you can do because either you can do in
champagne flute or you can do in a highball glass. So what am I talking about? You want to
start by grabbing some branches of rosemary and obviously your rosemary, try to pick up the nice
straight ones, keep it in a nice wash, get it like a really nice and green. You're going to need
blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, pomegranate grains, stuff that kind of like
calls the colors for Christmas. Okay and what you're going to be doing is
basically one little Christmas tree in the glass and obviously you're going to be a little bit
patient or help yourself with some bar tools to make it look straight and
kind of like putting things in place. Your raspberry is going to be like the base,
the blueberries they're going to be like a surrender to hold it together and or you can put
pomegranate grains to make it kind of cool. Then the next step is going to be even easier. You're
just going to pour a little bit of water and kind of like barely cover the fruit,
kind of like leave them sticking out a little bit. Right here actually I'm going a little bit
too much and let me show this thing to production. It's just a little bit too much,
so you need to have like the fruit kind of like sticking out. Why? Well put it in your freezer
and you're going to end up with this. This is really cool but here is not the magic you guys.
If you check on those videos that I have previously before,
that's completely wrong to say that's bad English, but in my in my previous videos you can
see certain kind of cocktails that they're made with champagne. So you can do the Bellini, you
can do the Cure Royale, you can do the Grand Royale. So it's just a matter of time of what
you can come up with it or what kind of a cocktail. Same thing in a high ball, you can do your gin and
tonics, you can make some kind of like a clear cocktail all the way up and have your Christmas
tree in a glass. So for this one in particular, what am I going to do in once? I'm going to do
the Cure Royale. So one of them is going to be Chambord.
For a little bit of it, let it sit for a little a few seconds, just enough for the glass to the
ice to start kind of like getting it really cold. The other one is going to be just a little bit of
and then slowly or with a bar spoon help, you're going to start pouring your champagne. This kind
of a hot trick, presentation, whatever you want to call it. I don't really recommend it for any
kind of like a fast paced restaurant or if you have a large amount of people coming over to
your place or a private party because of the volume of how many glasses you will need to chill
and do this, it's going to be a lot. But if you have like a mom, sister-in-law and cousins, hey,
it is perfect to kick off your Christmas dinner. Be creative with your syrups or purees or your
spirits and give them different tones and different colors. Because seriously, guys,
once these guys, they are making their bubbles, it's basically like a Christmas in a glass.
There you go. Christmas in a glass. But this is going to be for the adults. Now let's move on
to the little ones. So if you ever come across with a non-spirit or this is more like a botanicals
non-alcohol spirit or concoction. I mean, I don't know how to call it, but this one is the line of
seed leaf. You have three different guys, which is going to be the garden, which is more like
into the herbal stuff. The other one is going to be the spice, which goes for like
cardamom and cinnamon, stuff like that. The other one is going to be the group,
which is going to be the citrus and cinnamon. So these guys, they actually work pretty well
in a bar when it has to be something with non-alcoholic. Today, let me show you how to
make a couple of them. So we're going to start putting in the glass some ice. Let's get the
group, which is an orange one. So approximately it is ounce and a half.
Then you're going to go for fresh grapefruit juice. One full ounce. Let's get a little bit of
honey. Three quarters of an ounce. Well, honey syrup. Sorry. Honey syrup. And let's give him
a shake. Let's put some ice in the glass. Strain. You can get a little bit of hibiscus water.
Room on the top. And we're going to garnish it with raspberry and your rosemary branch.
Fire number two. Let's get some pomegranate grains. I'm not perfect. Close to it. Okay.
I'm going to put a little ice. Let's get our seed leaf. This one is going to be the spice.
Let's grab some fresh lime juice. I got the nectar. Three quarters of an ounce.
And let's give it a good shake. Same thing. I'm going to cover up. Garnish it with a nice
rosemary branch. Get a skewer. Raspberry, blueberries, and a few pomegranate grains.
And there you have it. Your non-alcoholic cocktails for the kids along with the dogs.
