Well, I think Arrioba initially is expecting the shot from Pascal Gross. So they do improvise. They go to the far post. That's not great goalkeeping from Arrioba. Trapetro. Got the cross in. Well initially the supporters weren't particularly happy that he checked back on his right foot. They felt he had the pace to take Adam Webster on down the line. But he does come inside. And not too far away. Well, this is a touch of class from Evan Ferguson. And the ball comes into him. Everyone's expecting him to hit that with his right foot. He just flicks it back onto his left. Well, that particular attack says that Brighton are looking to win it. Look how many bodies they get in the box. I know that West Ham are deep. But they've got a lot of players looking to attack that. He's not far away. Pascal Gross. And that's highlighted even more when you take away some of the quality at the top end of the pitch. Milner. It's Stupinian. Clips him well. And there's the diving header. Which lacked the power to beat Arriola. And that might just about be that. There's that man Hinsherwood arriving in the box again. Had a good display. Couldn't get the power that he wanted on that header. And that's it then. Well, after a year that was full of high notes for both of these two teams, the new year begins in a rather flat manner in East London tonight. For West Ham, it's four clean sheets in a row. Their goalkeeper, Alphonse Arriola, did make some good saves. But it was a passive West Ham performance. West Ham here, underwhelming. Brighton were the team who were really pushing for the win to try and go above West Ham tonight. They had their first clean sheet of the campaign.
