The art of Chinese seal carving for calligraphy and sumi signature seals / creating a name seal

Uncle Liu carves a Chinese name seal for a client from one of the seal stones of the www.asianbrushpainter.com seal stone collection.
First we translate the client name into Chinese and then we hand carve the name into the base of one of our seal stones.
These seal stones are used to sign Chinese calligraphy artworks, Sumi paintings or Chinese ink and wash painting and often are used as a stylistic element of the entire artworkk. #calligraphy
