Learn Chinese Calligraphy of the ‘Five Elements’

The characters in this demonstration are in regular script. They were written by Mr. Hsiao Shih-Hao, president of the Moxiang Calligraphy Association in Taipei, Taiwan. He has been an enthusiastic calligrapher for over 40 years, and has participated in many major calligraphy exhibitions in Taiwan.

Wu Xing, also known as the Five Elements, which include Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth, and are believed to be the fundamental elements of everything in the universe, according to traditional Chinese philosophy.
