(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights FC Augsburg - Borussia Dortmund

I know Gittins with the surge but eventually running into trouble he's tried to keep it alive it's good touch by Royce first big chance for Dortmund and it slides by Marco Royce off target it's delicate delivery kept alive and flicked just wide by Ben Sabahini it would have been spectacular it's a nice ball through for Marlon to try and chase but it was well read actually by Pedersen it's one for Dimirovic to chase he was too strong Edmund Dimirovic he's through he's been in red hot form and there he was just too hot to handle seven goals in his last 11 Bundesliga matches and Augsburg leads Edmund Dimirovic the captain with his eighth league goal of the season just see there Schlotterbeck it's just not just not enough it's not good enough from your center half you don't expect your center half to be so easily he's up there with the world's best players Erling Haaland many people believe is the world's best center forwards the numbers itself are very difficult to dispute here's Marlon brilliant that's what they can do to you in the blink of an eye they can find a goal and that's what Daniel Marlon has done he's on the he just uses his pace finds a bit of space and then all of a sudden he's just picking a corner and as he as he lets loose with that strike he's almost just guides it into that bottom bottom corner of the goal there really nice finish and really well worked goal from Dortmund only one goal in his last 20 for club and country before today but good intensity this from Augsburg Pedersen ankles on the touchline if he wants him but it's a great ball in and what a chance Philippe Tietz was all alone and he couldn't hit the target Augsburg have to take advantage of again it's just the pressure it was out muscled by Ermadine Tamirovic for Augsburg's goal equalizer from Daniel Marlon here's Tietz Tietz with the effort good save by Kobel did enough not allowing Dortmund the ease of playing out of the back and winning the ball high up mixing it up here's Marlon Daniel Marlon supercharged run and just couldn't force it home just hooks it wide of the goal in the end initially I thought it was a deflection in this instance probably feels like he can't afford to let it go oh this is all a bit of a mess Tom and off limits and then the header wide from full well that was a total mess time is the enemy for Dortmund here Marlon they've worked it really well Marlon good save and into the side netting from Bamber Daniel Marlon has looked the most likely get a good enough hand on it to he obviously gets a little bit of luck with the post but he deserved that luck he created his own luck but it's a brilliant save here's Brant Dortmund with a bit between their teeth Marlon can he turn went for the back heel instead and again Dahman was there this is up for grabs no question but who's got the quality forward by Peliot opportunity here and wide of the target from Ruben Vargas Brant five yellow shirts to aim for flicked on by full Krug big chance straight to the goalkeeper Rayner could have won it and Finn Dahman yet again
