"Several artefacts, including two metal Buddha statues and a number of other artifacts, were discovered in a set of ancient graves dating to the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220), according to the Shaanxi Academy of Archaeology. The tombs were discovered in the northwest Chinese province of Shaanxi.
The graves were found at Chengren Village, which is part of Xianyang. In May of this year, six graves were discovered and excavated.
In a burial chamber, two metal Buddha sculptures were discovered, one of which was a statue of Shakyamuni measuring 10.5 cm in height and the other which was a five-Buddha statue measuring 15.8 cm in height."
