Hello, and welcome to Let Us Veg Out.
Today, we are making cranberry sauce with apples.
I love adding some apples to my cranberry sauce
to help reduce the amount of added sugar needed.
It also just provides a really nice flavor and texture.
I hope you enjoy today's recipe,

We are simply going to add our ingredients
to a medium-sized sauce pot,
starting with three cups of cranberries,
1 1⁄2 cups of apple that has been peeled and diced,
1⁄3 of a cup of granulated sugar,
3⁄4 cup water, and 1⁄4 teaspoon of salt.
Bring this up to a boil over high heat,
and then lower the heat to medium-low,
and cook the sauce until it's thickened,
which takes about 10 minutes.
Once the sauce is cooked,
you should taste it and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
You may find that you want some extra sugar
or possibly salt.
I recommend cooling this sauce
for about 10 minutes before serving.
And there you have delicious cranberry sauce with apples.
I love the flavor and texture that apples add,
but you can certainly make this with just cranberries.
I hope you enjoy, and please make sure you're subscribed
