Hi everyone.
I hope you're all doing really well and thank you so much for joining me for today's video.
Today's video is going to be a styling video and focusing on really mixing and matching
lots of different pieces, really getting the most out of each item.
It's a huge consideration for me when I'm purchasing new clothing.
I always like to either in my head or actually make lots of different outfits with the one
item.
I really get my wear from that piece.
So with that in mind, I've got a few new pieces to show you and I've styled them in different
ways and multiple mixing and matching just to really show you the versatility of these
pieces.
All of the pieces I'm going to show you today are from a brand called Mo&Co, who are a brand
I have recently discovered.
I'm really excited to show you these pieces.
I have a 10% discount off everything on site.
I'll leave all the details below and Mo&Co is a contemporary modern women's wear brand
and they've got really, really nice pieces.
So let's get into it.
Okay.
So first of all is this jacket here.
It makes such a statement, but it's still very classic and timeless and chic.
It's not too in your face, but it definitely, yeah, as I said, it makes a statement.
It's got the most gorgeous white detailing on the edge, which just really makes the jacket
pop.
And then these bold white buttons and also the pocket detail.
And something I love is this detailing here on the sleeve.
I think that this jacket has a real designer feel to it.
It's nice and thick, so it gives it a good structure.
So first of all, I started here with a very simple base layer of a black roll neck and
leggings and some knee high boots.
I love keeping that tonal look all black, but just letting this jacket be the absolute
statement.
I think it really elevates such a simple outfit.
It really is so stunning.
I know sometimes sizing can be tricky with new brands.
I actually used their size guide because I really wanted to make sure I get it right
and I actually did the measurements.
So I thought I would share the sizes that I'm wearing just for reference.
So normally I'd say I'm a UK size 10, I'm five foot four.
So in this jacket, you know I love my jackets oversized and this one is really oversized.
I'm actually wearing a large.
And then just to show you another way of styling it, I've popped it on with some sheer tights
and heels.
Again, very simple base layer.
Underneath, letting the jacket be the absolute hero piece of the outfit, but just showing
how you can dress it up and dress it down.
Just wanted to add in one more idea of ways to wear this lovely jacket.
You're going to see these white trousers in more detail shortly, but this is such a nice
relaxed off duty vibe, but still feeling very chic and put together.
I love it paired with the trainers, keeping it really simple and I love the monochromatic
look.
Okay, moving on to some trousers and you know that I love a comfy trouser.
It has to be one of my favorite things in my wardrobe and these are everything.
I love these so much.
They've got this nice wide elasticated waistband, piping detail running down.
They are almost like a jersey, like a sweatshirt material.
They're really soft and I find trousers like this really easy to style.
They've also got a nice wide leg, which I think makes them look super chic.
I'm wearing a size medium in these trousers.
Although these are more of a casual fabric, I think the piping running down the front
and the wide leg just give them a really chic look.
I've paired these lovely trousers with this gorgeous camel cable knit jumper.
This is so soft and such a classic piece.
I also love this detailing here.
This is such a classic and timeless jumper that's really never going to date and something
that you can just add into so many outfits.
I love these colors together.
This is my absolute color palette heaven.
I love cozy, comfortable clothes like this, so I've popped it on here with my slippers
just to show you a really relaxed way of how you can style it.
This is a wool and cashmere blend, so really nice keep forever piece.
I'm wearing a size large in this because I think it is supposed to be more of a fitted
jumper.
I wanted that oversized feel that I could layer with other jumpers, so I went for a
large in that.
Then, just to show you how you could wear it going out, I've got this gorgeous beigey
brown herringbone blazer.
This is so stunning and really such a gorgeous timeless piece.
Again, I'm loving these jackets, but they do give that statement feel, but very wearable,
not in your face statement.
I feel like a lot of these outfits really tap into that old money style we're seeing
at the moment.
No logos, just very simple and high quality looks.
On the blazer, it also has this split up the side, so you really get a nice shape with
it, really nice movement.
I've also sized up on this one because I like my jackets oversized.
Sometimes that oversized blazer can feel quite boxy and very big.
Although this is oversized, I find with the splits, it just gives it a bit more movement.
Let's talk about what I'm wearing, this gorgeous stripe cardigan.
These are really having a moment right now.
These gorgeous boucle knit cardigans, they are so lovely, especially as we're going into
the colder months.
However, I have to say, this one is the nicest one that I have seen because of the detailing.
It's got this really nice thick piping here.
The gold buttons are lovely.
You've got the gold buttons here as well.
Just the way it's cut, it feels really premium and luxurious.
It's just those little extra touches that really make something feel really nice.
When you wear it, you just feel so good.
Then it's styled here with these lovely black wide leg trousers.
You know I love a wide leg trouser.
This pair are so flattering.
Sometimes wide trousers can look like they're taking over the outfit.
However, I feel like these are just super flattering.
They really nip you in at the waist and then they've got a nice wide leg.
If you'd like me to, I can do a whole video on styling black wide leg trousers because
they are so versatile.
There are so many ways to wear them.
I really love them styled here with this cardigan.
I really think this is such a simple and timeless look, but for any age.
You know I do a lot of styling videos with my mom.
This is something I would definitely put her in as well as we really get into the thick
of winter and it's going to get a lot colder.
These cardigans are really nice because you can still layer on a coat over the top.
It's not too chunky and bulky.
It's nice and thick, but quite compact if you know what I mean.
I have styled the black wide leg trousers in a few different outfits, so let me show
you those.
The black trousers are a wool blend, so they're going to keep you nice and warm and they've
got a really nice structure to them.
I'm wearing a size medium in those.
First of all, I've got them on with this lovely black and white stripe knit.
The first thing I want to say about this is it feels so nice.
It's a stretchy knit, but the way that it fits, it's so flattering, especially with
the black trousers.
It really nipped me in at the waist and I felt so nice wearing it.
I've styled it two ways here.
One with a pair of heels.
It depends on your style.
If you work in a corporate office, this might be nice for you to wear in an office, whereas
I don't necessarily go to an office.
I would wear this with the heels to go out if you're going for a smart dinner or smart
drinks or something like that.
I think it's really nice, really wearable.
You feel nice and comfortable, but you still look very smart and chic.
I really wanted to show the versatility of the base of this outfit, so I've still got
these lovely wide leg trousers with the stripe knit, but swapped the heels for trainers.
And I love this relaxed, but still feeling put together look.
I think that's what I've been loving so much about all of these pieces.
You can dress them up, dress them down, feel really chic and stylish in them, but also
very relaxed or dress them up if you want to.
They've been so versatile and I really hope showing the different ways to wear has been
helpful.
I find tops like this really easy to wear because they're so handy for layering.
They'll go with lots of different bottoms and then you can just pop your coat over the
top.
Really easy to wear.
I also like the lower neckline on it here as well, so if you've got some nice jewelry
or nice necklaces especially, you can really show them off with tops like this.
I'm wearing a size medium in the top.
Whilst we're talking about the black trousers, I wanted to show you the blazer tied up because
it does come with a detachable belt.
If you wanted to, you can belt it and cinch in your waist and that is where the split,
I think it works really nicely because it gives such a statement shape.
Super elegant, super chic, I love that.
One thing I love about this blazer is it makes a whole outfit.
I've got the most simple base on underneath, but pop this blazer on cinched in the waist
and it just makes the whole look.
This is such a good outfit on those days where you just don't know what to wear.
This is a really good throw on and go, but still feel really good.
Or you can take the belt off and just wear it as an oversized blazer.
I love both ways.
It's so nice to have more than one way to wear a particular item, so if you want to
dress it up, you can really cinch in the waist or if you want more of a relaxed feel like
here with the trainers.
I think wearing it undone without the belt is also such a nice way to wear it.
This is also 100% wool, so it's going to keep you really warm and as I was saying about
the jackets earlier, I like mine really oversized, so I'm actually wearing a size large in that.
Those are all of my mixing and matching outfits to share with you today.
As I said, I've got a 10% discount code from Mo and Co.
I will leave all of the sizes, links and everything linked down below.
Thank you so much for watching today's video.
I hope you enjoyed the styling one.
I'm excited that it's actually getting colder and we can get all laid up with the coats.
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch today's video.
I hope you're all doing really well.
I hope you are having a good week and I will see you very soon.
Bye!
