(Bundesliga 2023/2024): Highlights SC Freiburg - Darmstadt

He's going to go for goal. Of course he is. And he's not far away either. Oh joy to watch him this time just curling away but you can see just the last couple of meters maybe just curling a bit too much otherwise that was heading. I have to wait for that because this is good. Oh it's deflected it in. Darmstadt take the lead. Let's take a look how it happened. There was an awful deflection. He was in a good position. Honsak but it's the deflection here that takes it the opposite direction in which Noah Atubolu was diving to here. Up in the air big man was there. Aaron Seidel is still loose. That was unusual. Everyone lost sight of the ball and it was a left boot from Michiel Gregerich to try to get that goal. Five now. Too much room here for Dohan. Has to go for goal. Das but can't hit the target. Too much room. Just a whisker away. Ball laid off nicely. It's gonna be and it is there. It's Lukas Hörler. Philipp Lienhardt with the pass. The center back and Matthias Ginter outside the center half here with a gorgeous delivery. Pinpoint accuracy. Quick thinking, quick feet. Have they got something on? This is Honsak. Honsak. Another counter-attack that was threatening Freiburg here. Was that a palm from the goalkeeper? That's a terrific run initially. Well it was a fight right from the off here today but Christian Streis boys have not won a game of football in the Bundesliga in the last four matches now. The first time they've not done that in three years. They were expected to have scored more goals here as the ex-goals suggest but doggy defending from Darmstadt did the job today.
