Me and you hi, my name's Jack. I'm 12 years old. I'm Tim, and I'm 43 and we're a father-and-son singing joy
I've always wanted to be a dad from an early age. I think I can honestly say I was like I want to be a dad
Millions of fathers out there understand this when you find out you're having a son you kind of just go
Someone will understand me I've got a mate now
I've always sang. It's kind of in the family my dad was a singer and Jack's always been around it
I love being able to play I've performed on stage before it was an awesome experience
But I've always wanted to do something with my dad like this, so we thought BGT would be the right thing
It's really amazing when I get to play with my dad everything else goes. It's just me and him
You play to me. I'll play to you see what happens
I'm a little bit scared of Simon Cowell, but at least he has children now, so you might be a little bit of sympathy
Good you very well. Thank you. What's your name? I'm Jack
Nice to meet you Jack. I'm dad. I'm Tim. Hi dad Tim
You adorable where are you guys from we're from Norfolk Norwich?
How old are you Jack? I'm 12 12, and how long have you been singing with dad?
Since I was about five really and Tim is this what you do for a living I play
I'm a full-time dad ready to Jack Lily and
Gabrielle and Kimberly
Are you feeling nervous a little bit, but I'm really excited. Do you think you could win this?
It's my favorite thing to watch on TV
So it'd be absolutely incredible to win good answer, do you have a favorite judge I?
Like Simon especially
Especially because I like watching his best insults
They're funny, okay, but you know best to answer that question again
The last question yes, what's the song?
It's a song called the lucky ones Jack, and I write together, and this is one of ours, okay?
Can you tell me what it's about it's?
We kind of we've all had
Family losses and things like that and and there's a father and son. It's um. It's a kind of father-son song family song
It's about it's about us. It's about
Have what we have
Well you seem adorable, and we wish you guys the best of luck. Thank you
Oh
Stay here
Oh
Beach
Just like you
I'll be you see you
Hey you
We're the loves of each other
But we

Oh
That's a great song you are special
That was fantastic. I love that song just magic
Great song it reminded me of me and my boy
Hey guys I
Got to tell you to do just fantastic that was a moment
That was just so fantastic so pure so great. Thank you so much. Well on you, too
Well, it's a mess throughout the whole thing. It was an amazing golden buzzer
By far the coolest father-and-son act we've ever had
Wait to hear more and see you in the line
I'm a dad and it was just wonderful to see a father and son with this very special connection. There's beautiful performance together
We need more children
I'm standing in the rain
I
Oh
Across the water wait
It's all yours if you're ready good look up
Oh
What's your name? Hey, my name is Kami. Hey, I'm from Scotland
I'm 32. Okay, and do you bring anyone? No, I came on my own. I didn't tell anyone I was coming
I was gonna say nobody knows you're here. No, I kept a secret
So why have you applied to come on Britain's Got Talent?
Hey, I'd recently just became a dad when you have a little girl
You can't want to give her everything so I figured if I could chase my dreams and be happy and give her every opportunity
And that would be pretty cool
What would you spend two hundred fifty thousand pounds on I would buy
Meet me my girlfriend my baby house. Yeah
All right, darling good luck, thank you
Come on come
Got my driver's license last week just like we always talked about
And you were so excited for me. I finally drive up
They are
The Scottish accent singing an accent and I just can't imagine
How you could be so keen?
I guess you
That's all
Um, I think we all really really really like you I personally thought that song was a bit fast
Yeah, I was maybe a little bit nervous
Yeah, and I kind of felt you were like pushing it a little bit too much. Can we just hear it a little bit?
Slow up. Yep. Okay
Do you think King Charles I like them?
Yeah
Since last week just like we always talked about
Cuz you were so excited for me. They finally drive up
Today I drove through the suburbs
Crying
He's so much
He's everything
Today I drove through the suburbs
Just can't imagine
About me
You said forever now, I drive alone past your street
It goes my
Losing my
Simon what did you think? I think it was a good choice the song
I always like it when someone puts the twist in someone else's song you were nervous
Yeah, but people are gonna want to root for you. I've just got a feeling
It's authentic and real and I know how much this means to you
So for all of those reasons it made for a really beautiful version. So well done. Thank you very much
You
Do have the most beautiful tone and I love that raspiness you've got there in the tank
I think you're a great guy. Love your personality and I really hope that something great comes from this. Thank you
You really sing with your heart and the second time when you just let it go a little bit
You didn't try too hard. It became even more real
I'm gonna kick this off. It's a yes for me
I'm saying yes
And I say yes
To say yes
People like it
Amazing I kind of believe I go through that
Yeah, that's the most nervous. I've ever been we are brilliant. I love you man. Thank you. Yeah
I don't know if you can see
the changes that
Have come over me
These last few days
I've been afraid
That I'm a dream
And I've been telling old stories
and singing songs
That make me think
Think about where I came from and that's the reason
Why I seem
so far away
today
So let me tell
You that I love you
And I think about you
And now
Let me tell you
You
Good evening. What's your name, sir? My name is John Courtney. Where are you from?
I live in a village called Mosley, which is near Manchester
Okay, anyone with you. I've got my wife and two boys
I
Since I was about five I guess and is that how you make a living?
Yeah, so is this the biggest venue you performed in? Yeah
The Palladium is like the Holy Grail to me. I used to watch the shows with my dad and this is the home of variety
Overwhelming. It's amazing
There was a man who had a dream
That Simon Cowell and his team
Would watch him play piano and try to slay them on the stage of the Palladium
And in the time that one song took
David would write another book
At least you would smile at him Amanda would be kind to him Simon's teeth would be blinding him
If he was smiling but nothing now could ever spoil the dream he dreamed like Susan Boyle
Let's see if we're we haven't been in it yet
Is he never thought he'd ever get to be in front of millions of people doing his thing on TV
30 years of playing in piano bars and pubs dodging glasses when they're thrown being thrown out of clubs
When you children ask daddy when you're coming home
This game is not the same when you're just daddy on the phone
So he sits at the piano and he tries to get prepared
Thinking he'll write it in third person
So he doesn't feel as scared to sing about himself to a bunch of strangers in the dark
But then Britain has got talent and he wants to make his mark
Paul Potts won the first year and said it was insane the second year George Sampson won singing in the ring
Lost voice guys season 12 and last year Colin Thackeray. So why not me?
That's what he said
his youngest boy
one night in bed
Dad why not you go and show them what you do and even though you'll be a wreck
But at least you'll meet Ant and
Sage at this stage in his life with an expensive mortgage and a pensive wife
His youngest son Alfie says what's it all about? If he had any hair left, he'd pull it out
his teenage son said
His dad taught him to play piano
But he didn't live to see his son at the famous theater performing on TV
If he didn't see it through
Imagine how sad the look on the faces of both his lads
Who always tell him?
You're the greatest showman dad
And they'll see me on BGT. No more third person. Just daddy. This is me
John
You've made me fall to bits. I don't know why I just saw a man who kind of made all his dreams come true
It really was. Yeah
It was just so winning wasn't it? I mean my goodness me and made the whole audience. I'm sure everyone watching
They had everything and at the end he had us moved to tears this show is perfect for you
And now I want to see you go as far as you can in this competition
John it was just a wonderful audition. You're somebody who's worked for years
Needs a break. You'll get a huge reaction of this
I promise you and we all want you to do well, so I would love to be the
first
I
Believe you deserve it. You deserve it
Hello, good evening. Hi, it's amazing to be here, obviously
So if my audition I sung a song about my kids and about being a dad and tonight
I want to take you back a bit further to when I was a kid and about my mom and dad
I've written a song called when I was a boy. We have a photo of when I was a boy
This is me when I was about three. I
Know I'm the one on the right
but I did meet a very rich lady after my audition at the London Palladium and she'd spent a lot of money to try and
Look like the one on the left
Here we are again for some more BGT
Never dreamed the semis would include me. How could this be real? It must be a hoax
I'm just a piano man with a bunch of bad dad jokes
My hamster died. He fell asleep at the wheel
We've got a virtual audience for the semi and you at home watching on TV
We were one judge down. So thanks Ashley
Cycling for Simon is unhealthy
electrically
apparently
As for me, I was outside Tesco two meters apart
Hand sanitizer gloves and a mask so I was unrecognizable for people to ask
Were you on BGT it's a pain in the
Inspiration from chaplain to Victoria Wood as a child
I saw variety shows on the screen wanting to be Billy Connolly Elton or Queen
my
Just out my ears and out my nose
My forehead now has met my neck but no forehead jokes in front of Anton
Didn't go together like Robin and Batman like Phil and Holly like Simon and fake town
But the greatest double act the world ever had was Carolyn and Ivan. That's my mom and dad
They were on stage long before I was born as a child I would sit there just shouting for more
They'd take me backstage
Naked dancers, I'd see I decided show business was the business for me
They were barely apart
But there wasn't a day when I didn't hear them laugh like when dad dropped a glass of chocolate milk in the bath
When we saw the mess, he said I only meant to fart
Dad was still laughing till his final bow and the memories of him make us laugh even now
Mom said never give up and she knows I love her, but even she never dreamed I'd get a
My children have watched me from their youngest age
Bring music and laughter
from up on the stage
Just like I watched my mom and her dreams come true. Now. She gets to be on TV
virtually
mom take a bow
Your family may be crazy
They may drive you around the bend
Your kids may drive you insane. It's a never-ending spend
But my mom always told me be proud of who you are
So now I tell my children
always reach for the stars
